Fab Freebie: Party Time

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

The randomly selected party girl (or guy) this week is… Mackenzie (who said “In 2 weeks I am attending a welcome home party for the return of two very close friends who just got done completing service in The Dominican Republic through The Peace Corp!”). Congrats!

Clara’s turning three in two short weeks, which means our minds are shifting into birthday party mode. And to get the celebration started early, we’re dishing out $500 worth of festive party supplies to one lucky winner. First we have $250 to SmashCake And Co, where you can stock up on everything from pretty paper straws to milk glass cake stands.

SmashCake Studio Giveaway

Next up is $150 to spend at Lindsay Letters, a shop full of beautifully handwritten prints, canvasses, stamps, and other dreamy goodies. She has a whole section labelled for babies and kids, but don’t let that hold you back from hanging her stuff in an adult space (we think it would look good anywhere).

Lindsay Letters Giveaway

And finally we’ve got $100 to spent at Dino Cape, where Clara got one of her favorite accessories. We bought her a cape from this Etsy vendor because of her recent fascination with dragons (they’re kinda like dinosaurs, right?) and she’s obsessed with it. A hundred bucks to spend there is enough to score some for your kiddos/nieces/nephews – or a matching pair for you and your spouse’s next Game Of Thrones themed costume party.

Dino Cape Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A $250 gift card to SmashCake And Co, $150 to Lindsay Letters, and $100 to DinoCapes
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “PARTY TIME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what occasion you’ve celebrated recently or will be celebrating soon. Is there a birthday in your family coming up? Maybe you just threw an anniversary or housewarming party? Or are you just getting ready for a nice low key Mother’s Day next month?
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: This prize ships anywhere in the world!
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, May 1st or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winners will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winners. Good luck…

All 3 of my kid’s birthdays are in the Spring…March, April and May. It is party TOWN, here. Add Mother’s Day and Father’s Day and the fun doesn’t stop. We also added a puppy to the mix and she turns one on May 4th. We are planning a puppy bash, too! (I’m thinking the, “Yay! You’re 1” theme with the fire engines and dalmations???) Can.not.resist. :D

Party time! My son’s birthday is always the big event around here. Last year he requested a costume party, so everyone was asked to wear their Halloween costumes. This year he’s asking for a parade. Strike up the band!

Party time!!! My daughters were born a week apart, so we’re going the joint birthday route while they’re too young to complain. They’ll be 3 and 5 in June, and we’ve already started planning an Under the Sea party to be held at a local splash park.

    ….PARTY TIME!!!!!

Well, we will be celebrating mother’s day soon. I have 3 sisters. We will be getting together to eat lunch at ur sesonal drive in, which has great burgers. Then we are off to get mani and pedi’s, with my 3 year old daughter. Getting her nails painted is a big deal for her. I’m happy I can enjoy these days with the people I love most.

Also, we just bought our first house and my mother wants to throw us a surprise house warming party. I want to wait until next summer, when we have more projects finished. We will see what happens. Who doesn’t love a good party!!!!!

PARTY TIME! I recently had a superhero themed birthday party for my wife. She is a huge Batman fan and why not have a child themed party at 44? We asked the guests to don superhero costumes if they desired. A few folks made up their own superhero which was fun…we had a ‘Grammar Girl’ on hand to correct everyone and a ‘Dunkin Doughnut Girl’ to act as a nemesis to our Starbucks-loving household. I printed several free superhero images and words like BANG/POP/ZING and laminated them to use as decor- some mini versions were taped to skewers for cupcake toppers. We made superhero caped tootsie roll pops inspired by pinterest. We had a make your own hotdog bar- which was a big hit! We had so much fun and are ready for our next adventure… an elegant tapas dinner party in May. Love your site!
