Fab Freebie: Party Time

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

The randomly selected party girl (or guy) this week is… Mackenzie (who said “In 2 weeks I am attending a welcome home party for the return of two very close friends who just got done completing service in The Dominican Republic through The Peace Corp!”). Congrats!

Clara’s turning three in two short weeks, which means our minds are shifting into birthday party mode. And to get the celebration started early, we’re dishing out $500 worth of festive party supplies to one lucky winner. First we have $250 to SmashCake And Co, where you can stock up on everything from pretty paper straws to milk glass cake stands.

SmashCake Studio Giveaway

Next up is $150 to spend at Lindsay Letters, a shop full of beautifully handwritten prints, canvasses, stamps, and other dreamy goodies. She has a whole section labelled for babies and kids, but don’t let that hold you back from hanging her stuff in an adult space (we think it would look good anywhere).

Lindsay Letters Giveaway

And finally we’ve got $100 to spent at Dino Cape, where Clara got one of her favorite accessories. We bought her a cape from this Etsy vendor because of her recent fascination with dragons (they’re kinda like dinosaurs, right?) and she’s obsessed with it. A hundred bucks to spend there is enough to score some for your kiddos/nieces/nephews – or a matching pair for you and your spouse’s next Game Of Thrones themed costume party.

Dino Cape Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A $250 gift card to SmashCake And Co, $150 to Lindsay Letters, and $100 to DinoCapes
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “PARTY TIME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what occasion you’ve celebrated recently or will be celebrating soon. Is there a birthday in your family coming up? Maybe you just threw an anniversary or housewarming party? Or are you just getting ready for a nice low key Mother’s Day next month?
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: This prize ships anywhere in the world!
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, May 1st or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winners will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winners. Good luck…

Party Time! I am already thinking of my son’s 2nd birthday party–it’s not until September. I originally thought pigs, since he loves all characters and things pigs. But maybe farm themed with lots of DIY cardboard animals and a pig pen to keep all of the crazy kid toys.

PARTY TIME!!! We are big believers here in celebrating 1/2 birthdays (especially our kids’) since we find they do so much growing and changing in those 6 months stints. It’s not a big celebration – but I do make 1/2 a cake and we talk about all the ways that they’ve changed in the last half year.

Tomorrow our pup Molly turns 9 and Daddy-O celebrates 35 1/2 ;) I’ll be in the kitchen baking away tomorrow!

    Party time!

I have both of my son’s parties coming up. One will be 8 and one will be 11. They are only 2 days apart and although we used to do one party they have different interests now and insist on having their own. Then we will have a gender reveal party and a baby shower for baby #4. We celebrated my daughter’s birthday in February.
