Clara’s turning three in two short weeks, which means our minds are shifting into birthday party mode. And to get the celebration started early, we’re dishing out $500 worth of festive party supplies to one lucky winner. First we have $250 to SmashCake And Co, where you can stock up on everything from pretty paper straws to milk glass cake stands.
Next up is $150 to spend at Lindsay Letters, a shop full of beautifully handwritten prints, canvasses, stamps, and other dreamy goodies. She has a whole section labelled for babies and kids, but don’t let that hold you back from hanging her stuff in an adult space (we think it would look good anywhere).
And finally we’ve got $100 to spent at Dino Cape, where Clara got one of her favorite accessories. We bought her a cape from this Etsy vendor because of her recent fascination with dragons (they’re kinda like dinosaurs, right?) and she’s obsessed with it. A hundred bucks to spend there is enough to score some for your kiddos/nieces/nephews – or a matching pair for you and your spouse’s next Game Of Thrones themed costume party.

We are throwing a Red Egg and Ginger party this saturday for our baby girl who will be 3 months old next week! It is a traditional Chinese party, kind of a “coming out” party where everyone gets to meet the baby and ooh and aah over her. the red egg symbolizes new life and the ginger is because of its health benefits to mom after having a baby. I ate a TON of ginger in all types of dishes my mom made for me post-delivery.
