Fab Freebie: Party Time

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

The randomly selected party girl (or guy) this week is… Mackenzie (who said “In 2 weeks I am attending a welcome home party for the return of two very close friends who just got done completing service in The Dominican Republic through The Peace Corp!”). Congrats!

Clara’s turning three in two short weeks, which means our minds are shifting into birthday party mode. And to get the celebration started early, we’re dishing out $500 worth of festive party supplies to one lucky winner. First we have $250 to SmashCake And Co, where you can stock up on everything from pretty paper straws to milk glass cake stands.

SmashCake Studio Giveaway

Next up is $150 to spend at Lindsay Letters, a shop full of beautifully handwritten prints, canvasses, stamps, and other dreamy goodies. She has a whole section labelled for babies and kids, but don’t let that hold you back from hanging her stuff in an adult space (we think it would look good anywhere).

Lindsay Letters Giveaway

And finally we’ve got $100 to spent at Dino Cape, where Clara got one of her favorite accessories. We bought her a cape from this Etsy vendor because of her recent fascination with dragons (they’re kinda like dinosaurs, right?) and she’s obsessed with it. A hundred bucks to spend there is enough to score some for your kiddos/nieces/nephews – or a matching pair for you and your spouse’s next Game Of Thrones themed costume party.

Dino Cape Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A $250 gift card to SmashCake And Co, $150 to Lindsay Letters, and $100 to DinoCapes
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “PARTY TIME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what occasion you’ve celebrated recently or will be celebrating soon. Is there a birthday in your family coming up? Maybe you just threw an anniversary or housewarming party? Or are you just getting ready for a nice low key Mother’s Day next month?
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: This prize ships anywhere in the world!
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, May 1st or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winners will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winners. Good luck…

PARTY TIME!!! My birthday was last week, but I’m holding my annual birthday dinner party next month when my brother is in town. I can’t wait to spend the day cooking and decorating and then have a fancy-pants party with my favorite people.

PARTY ME! No celebration compares to the fun of a child’s birthday party. My little girl won’t hit the big 2 for a few more months, but it is never to early to start dreaming up the fun!

Both my nephew and soon-to-be nephew are celebrating their 3rd and 1st birthdays the same week as Clara. After celebrating with them, I’m most looking forward to an engagement party our parents are throwing for my fiance and me in June!

PARTY TIME! I had a dessert party at my new apartment a few weeks ago – I made 12 kinds of desserts (I went a little crazy) and had about 15-18 people over. It was a blast, but I need to maybe think about less involved parties. I spent a week baking and it wore me out!

I have my soon-to-be two year old’s party this coming weekend (A Beatles theme), and then the wheels are already turning on plans for a surprise beer tasting 30th birthday for the hubby later this year. PLUS our five year anniversary, so we have no shortage of celebrations this year.

PARTY TIME! We’re about to kick it up for Teacher Appreciation Week at my 2-year-old-daughter’s school! I signed up to be a co-Room-Mom, and this is my event to plan (what was I thinking?!), but I’ve got some simple plans to celebrate her 3 teachers (with each day being devoted to a specific sense!). It would be fab to be able to incorporate some of this awesomeness into our class’s thank yous!

PARTY TIME – The hubs is graduating from college this weekend. He went back to school a couple of years ago after taking a break and we’re so proud of him for finishing this while working full time, volunteering as firefighter, working part time at another job, working on house renovations, and being a great husband while dealing my shenanigans. We’re flying to MN from TX to celebrate and throw a little shindig!
