Fab Freebie: Party Time

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

The randomly selected party girl (or guy) this week is… Mackenzie (who said “In 2 weeks I am attending a welcome home party for the return of two very close friends who just got done completing service in The Dominican Republic through The Peace Corp!”). Congrats!

Clara’s turning three in two short weeks, which means our minds are shifting into birthday party mode. And to get the celebration started early, we’re dishing out $500 worth of festive party supplies to one lucky winner. First we have $250 to SmashCake And Co, where you can stock up on everything from pretty paper straws to milk glass cake stands.

SmashCake Studio Giveaway

Next up is $150 to spend at Lindsay Letters, a shop full of beautifully handwritten prints, canvasses, stamps, and other dreamy goodies. She has a whole section labelled for babies and kids, but don’t let that hold you back from hanging her stuff in an adult space (we think it would look good anywhere).

Lindsay Letters Giveaway

And finally we’ve got $100 to spent at Dino Cape, where Clara got one of her favorite accessories. We bought her a cape from this Etsy vendor because of her recent fascination with dragons (they’re kinda like dinosaurs, right?) and she’s obsessed with it. A hundred bucks to spend there is enough to score some for your kiddos/nieces/nephews – or a matching pair for you and your spouse’s next Game Of Thrones themed costume party.

Dino Cape Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A $250 gift card to SmashCake And Co, $150 to Lindsay Letters, and $100 to DinoCapes
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “PARTY TIME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what occasion you’ve celebrated recently or will be celebrating soon. Is there a birthday in your family coming up? Maybe you just threw an anniversary or housewarming party? Or are you just getting ready for a nice low key Mother’s Day next month?
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: This prize ships anywhere in the world!
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, May 1st or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winners will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winners. Good luck…

PARTY TIME!! May is definitely party month for us! We are celebrating my grandmother-in-law’s 80th birthday this weekend, then headed to my parents the following weekend to celebrate my dad’s birthday and mother’s day (they always have to share). At the end of the month we have a wedding for my cousin-in-law/really good friend followed by our anniversary and my hubs’ birthday. Needless to say we are busy celebrating all month and this gift card could DEFINITELY come in handy…so we don’t go broke! :)

PARTY TIME I just co-hosted a “gender guess” baby shower. Mom didn’t know the gender of the baby so we had various activities to guess what the baby would be. Lovely chevron and polka dot theme with lots of fun spring time colors. Such fun. this giveaway would help me loads with an upcoming baby shower for my sister. Yay for freebies!!

I have a 1 year old birthday coming up in June and a 4 yr old birthday in July. We didn’t have a party for the to be 4 year old last year as it was right in the middle of us moving across the state so I plan to go all out this year. I’m very excited to do her recently picked Minnie Mouse themed party.

I have been gone for work so much the past few months that I’m dying to just host a nice dinner party! We are hopefully curbing and sodding our backyard this week. That calls for a garden party on the patio, right?

My next party will be to celebrate my new job. Which I hope will be soon! I’ve been unemployed since January, and to make it less of a mental torture I used the time to work out what I want to do at this time in my life and what kind of company I want to work for.
I don’t enjoy unemployment, but I should have taken the time to think about things long ago!

So as soon as that new job rolls around, I’ll break out the cupcakes and the buttercream :)

In a couple weeks we will be celebrating two birthdays in our house, my (almost) 5 year old daughter, and my husband. Sadly, the birthdays always overshadow Mother’s Day (pardon me during this pity party) but we are looking forward to a couple days of celebrating these 2 at a water park!!
    And Happy early Birthday Clara!
