Fab Freebie: Party Time

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

The randomly selected party girl (or guy) this week is… Mackenzie (who said “In 2 weeks I am attending a welcome home party for the return of two very close friends who just got done completing service in The Dominican Republic through The Peace Corp!”). Congrats!

Clara’s turning three in two short weeks, which means our minds are shifting into birthday party mode. And to get the celebration started early, we’re dishing out $500 worth of festive party supplies to one lucky winner. First we have $250 to SmashCake And Co, where you can stock up on everything from pretty paper straws to milk glass cake stands.

SmashCake Studio Giveaway

Next up is $150 to spend at Lindsay Letters, a shop full of beautifully handwritten prints, canvasses, stamps, and other dreamy goodies. She has a whole section labelled for babies and kids, but don’t let that hold you back from hanging her stuff in an adult space (we think it would look good anywhere).

Lindsay Letters Giveaway

And finally we’ve got $100 to spent at Dino Cape, where Clara got one of her favorite accessories. We bought her a cape from this Etsy vendor because of her recent fascination with dragons (they’re kinda like dinosaurs, right?) and she’s obsessed with it. A hundred bucks to spend there is enough to score some for your kiddos/nieces/nephews – or a matching pair for you and your spouse’s next Game Of Thrones themed costume party.

Dino Cape Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A $250 gift card to SmashCake And Co, $150 to Lindsay Letters, and $100 to DinoCapes
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “PARTY TIME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what occasion you’ve celebrated recently or will be celebrating soon. Is there a birthday in your family coming up? Maybe you just threw an anniversary or housewarming party? Or are you just getting ready for a nice low key Mother’s Day next month?
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: This prize ships anywhere in the world!
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, May 1st or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winners will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winners. Good luck…

    PARTY TIME …!

We just celebrated our daughter’s first birthday. The decorations were pretty low-key, but the centerpiece — other than the party girl, of course — was my wall of photos that was inspired by your Clara Photo Project. (Though I managed only 35 of the 52 weeks of the year :/ … oops!)

My husband and I will be celebrating our 4th “house birthday” (the day we closed on our first house, which was a short 2 weeks before our wedding day that year!!!) and STILL have never had a housewarming party. Now that it’s almost 4 years old (to us! it was built in the 1950s) we have FINALLY finished our main floor bathroom remodel, and I think it’s about time we had everyone over for a par-tay!

We just celebrated our kiddo’s third birthday a few weeks ago. Race car theme with almost all homemade projects, cakes, and games. Lots of fun centered around his new obsession. (On a side note, I always remember that Clara’s birthday is close to his because I remember seeing the post while home on maternity leave.)

We love to party, so these would all add to the next event . . .

We just bought a new house (new for us-built in 84). With all the updates we’ve been trying to do (that popcorn ceiling and blue/mauve wallpaper had to go, along with the carpet in the bathrooms!!!) we could sure use the gift cards to help with a housewarming party and a sip n’ see for our friend who is temporarily moving here while her hubby is in ranger school for three months!!!!
