Fab Freebie: Party Time

The randomly selected party girl (or guy) this week is… Mackenzie (who said “In 2 weeks I am attending a welcome home party for the return of two very close friends who just got done completing service in The Dominican Republic through The Peace Corp!”). Congrats!

Clara’s turning three in two short weeks, which means our minds are shifting into birthday party mode. And to get the celebration started early, we’re dishing out $500 worth of festive party supplies to one lucky winner. First we have $250 to SmashCake And Co, where you can stock up on everything from pretty paper straws to milk glass cake stands.

Next up is $150 to spend at Lindsay Letters, a shop full of beautifully handwritten prints, canvasses, stamps, and other dreamy goodies. She has a whole section labelled for babies and kids, but don’t let that hold you back from hanging her stuff in an adult space (we think it would look good anywhere).

And finally we’ve got $100 to spent at Dino Cape, where Clara got one of her favorite accessories. We bought her a cape from this Etsy vendor because of her recent fascination with dragons (they’re kinda like dinosaurs, right?) and she’s obsessed with it. A hundred bucks to spend there is enough to score some for your kiddos/nieces/nephews – or a matching pair for you and your spouse’s next Game Of Thrones themed costume party.

    PARTY TIME!! We just celebrated my son’s 5th birthday, my father’s 75th birthday and my daughter’s 1st Communion (all on the same day…yes my son was born on my Dad’s 70th birthday :) In June we will be celebrating my daughter’s birthday and my Mom’s (yes..my daughter was born on my Mom’s birthday) and later in the month, we have my niece’s graduation, my other niece’s birthday and my sister’s birthday to celebrate!!! Thank you for this opportunity AND introducing me to such wonderful new vendors!!

    Or in my case, PAWTY TIME. Next celebration on the calendar is our Westie’s fourth birthday May 15. On tap is balloon popping, squirrel chasing and eating a couple of Tim Bits (the hole from the doughnut center). Fingers crossed!

    May (and June) will be full of celebrations – Mother’s Day, my mother-in-law’s birthday, my birthday, my mom’s birthday, and commencement at the university where I work…not to mention the official arrival of summer! I’m so excited!!!

    PARTY TIME! Last Saturday we celebrated MH’s grandma’s 93rd birthday and were told that we should plan to keep that weekend open for at least the next 10 years according to her doctor!

    My husband’s birthday is coming up on May 9th and he is graduating with his MBA on May 10th! We are having a backyard barbeque to celebrate the end of these two years of school :)

    PARTY TIME! Today is my husbands birthday, actually! We had a ginormous party for him last year (his 30th), though, so no big fiesta this go ’round. We are already looking forward to our 3 month-old’s first birthday party :)

    Party time!! Soon I will celebrate Mother’s Day with a fun bike/walk/bike race with my Aunt’s, Uncle’s and Grandma. It will be a fun weekend filled with tasty food and fun family time!

    I will be celebrating my birthday in 3 weeks- and at the same time that I’m celebrating my finishing graduate school! It’s been a long road and I can’t think of a better way to commemorate it all than with a party with all of my closest friends here in Boston!

    It’s been a month if celebrating for me! My son was born 5 weeks ago. Then we celebrated my big brothers wedding a week ago, my 3 year wedding anniversary is tomorrow, and I finally get to celebrate my first Mother’s Day on the 12th!! Lots and lots of reasons to celebrate in my life!

    PARTY ME! May brings my Dad’s 78th, my Mom’s 71st, and Mothers Day all wrapped up in a week. It feels pretty intense and like I never pull off a very great job. Would really dig some new party gear. :)
