I can’t recall anyhting “signed” that I have gotten, but I have run into a few celebs though, including Bill Paxton (he’s from where I live) and asked to take a pic with him, he agreed, even smiled and put his arm around me :)

When i was a kid, my favorite author was Piers Anthony. I wrote him a letter and included some drawings of characters from his books, and he wrote me back with some really sweet comments about the pictures (and of course signed his name at the end). It was so awesome!

I grew up going to tons of UNC basketball games, so I have autographs from some of the greats — Vince Carter, Jerry Stackhouse, Rasheed Wallace, Antawn Jamison, Marvin Williams, Raymond Felton, and the list goes on. I also have a signed copy of one of Dean Smith’s books (he also took a picture with me). I also have an autographed Night Ranger poster!

In high school I went to see the band Marcy Playground at the Cat’s Cradle in Chapel Hill, NC. I thought I was so cool because after the concert we meet the band in the parking lot and I got their autograph. It was pretty much the highlight of my sophomore year. LOL.

I’ve managed to get two autographed CDs from my absolute favorite band O.A.R. I also managed to snag a Stabbing Westward autograph when I was 16. Anyone remember that song Save Yourself? Careful…I may give away my age with that one.
But, really…we just finished spending the last five weeks painting our foyer, stairwell, hallway, dining room and living room with Benjamin Moore paints. We’d LOVE to paint our kitchen but our paint budget dwindled down to nothing after we hired someone (via Living Social) to do our stairwell. It was either hire someone or fall off the ladder and do a terrible job with a 12-14 foot reach. Help me paint our kitchen. :)
