My dad took a fantastic picture of Magic Johnson back in his MSU basketball days. While I was attending MSU myself, I found out he was going to be at a game. So I “borrowed” the pic from my parents and hunted Magic down at the game to get his autograph. My dad was thrilled on so many levels!

I have books signed by Paula Deen and Giada De Laurentiis. When I got them signed I was with my aunts, grandma, and little cousin. Something about having little 5 year old Savannah with us really got their attention (probably the masses of people standing and she was at eye level of them signing). Paula’s reaction “Oh hello sweetheart” with her big happy voice, and Savannah gave Giada a flower for her then newborn daughter which of course sent Giada over the moon. Awesome times.
