Benjamin MOORE ME and I have become very well acquainted as I spent the summer painting my kitchen cupboards “Simply White.” I’m just one application away from finished and must admit they look fantastic. The new ADVANCE paint is a dream to apply and dries beautifully.
My most cherished autographs are the letters and cards signed by my mother. She was an artist and wrote with a beautiful cursive – each letter perfectly formed and slanted. When I realized she wouldn’t be with me much longer I began to save everything she sent me during the past several years. Sadly, she passed away a year ago at age 92 but her autographs are a cherished memory for me and my children.
No one does it better than Candice when it comes to creativity and originality. We share Canadian roots and an appreciation for warm cozy homes. Her designs continue to inspire and motivate me to update and change that usually includes MOORE painting by ME! Hugs.

The only autographs I ever get are of the comic book writer/inker/illustrator variety. I attend many conventions throughout the year and it’s always fun to meet the people who create the comics I love. Sometimes I’m lucky enough to get a sketch from them too!

Moore Me! I have never been one much for autographs, but my son has one of Michael Clark Duncan, along with a picture next to him at a Clipper’s game. With Duncan’s recent passing this photo and autograph are special to my son. We have watched the Green Mile twice this week. I won a contest when I was 11 years old and I flew to Washington, D.C. with my dad for the All Star game. I have a baseball with autographs of Joe DiMaggio, Ernie Banks, Ron Santos, Mel Stottlemyre, and Denny McLain to name a few. It was a thrill and turned me into a contest junkie!

When I was younger I used to work as a nanny in NYC and I met/played with the children of many famous people…the only time I regretted not asking for a signature was when one of my friends was a live-in for Kevin Bacon….I’m one degree….but I don’t have proof!!!:)

When I was in First Grade, everyone in my class wrote to their favorite author. I wrote a letter to Eric Carle, and included my own version of The Very Hungry Caterpillar (my fav book of his) made of cotton balls or something. He hand wrote me a letter back, thanking me for my crazy creation. It made me feel so special! I still think it was so sweet of him to take the time and actually pay attention to a letter and gift from a 7-year-old! Nobody does that anymore!

My (now ex-) boyfriend had a huge crush on Brigitte Bardot, so I found a french magazine which featured many pictures of her. I managed to find her address online, and sent her a note asking her to autograph the magazine for him. Months passed, but one day I got a package in the mail. She not only autographed each page in the magazine, but she wrote a special dedication to him on the cover. I surprised him with it for his birthday!

I need MOORE PAINT to completely re-paint my large 1st floor which was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina & a 22-ft storm surge in 2005. The 1st floor had 8′ of water with me trapped upstairs. During drywall restoration my “nondesigner” husband took it upon himself to paint all the walls white (or shades of white!) with whatever paint he picked up from the store, so some rooms even have different whites in them ranging from flat to semi-gloss on the same wall. I’m ready now for color, so I would love some “MOORE” paint. Too bad Candance isn’t in Mississippi to help me! I still don’t have a floor or kitchen cabinets…but I do have applicances!
BONUS ANSWER: I have many autographs ranging from Conway Twitty, James Brown, 60s/70s bands, Allman Brothers, & Lynyrd Sknyrd to name some. The last one I received this year is a collage picture signed personally to me from Tom Petty. The pictures are of me, Tom Petty, & my brother Robert Crawford in their 1st band in Gainesville, FL in 1964 called THE SUNDOWNERS. Tom Petty played bass guitar (9th grade), my brother (20 & had long hair), & I WAS THE GO-GO-GIRL for the band with black fringe dress & all! They wore pink Beatle suits. My brother & I still play & of course you might know little Tommy Petty from my neighborhood became TOM PETTY & THE HEARTBREAKERS.
I hope I win this as I sure need some MOORE PAINT, not to mention flooring, trim, kitchen, bathroom, & real furniture…in essence a complete 1st-floor remodel. Maybe I should enter an HGTV house makeover sweepstakes!!!!
