I very awkwardly approached Chuck Knoblauch (former Twin/Yankee) in a local coffee shop in the midst of what looked like an intense conversation with his then wife and I got his autograph. It was not a proud moment. BUT years later, I got personalized autographed baseballs from Torii Hunter and Joe Mauer through some friends. Sweet redemption…and confirmation that I should leave celebrity gawking to others. :)
