Probably the autograph I’ve received that I was most excited about was Jody Sweetin (aka Stephanie from Full House). We waited for hours to meet her. Actually, now that I’m typing this, I remember I actually didn’t get her signature. After all that waiting, we got to the point where we were maybe 10th in line and her assistant announced her hand was tired so she wasn’t going to give out any more signatures. I still got to shake her hand and get a photo with her. Jody Sweetin, you owe me an autograph!

I am a chef so my favourite autographs are the ones that I received on my chef jacket from Curtis Stone last year (he signed ‘Cook it up baby!’) and the one from just this past weekend from Susur Lee during his visit to PEI!

I’ve actually never gotten a celebrity’s autograph but when I was in Las Vegas shopping P Diddy walked right in front of me with his entourage or security. My husband actually said hi and he responded by throwing up his first two fingers in our direction. =)

I once had the band Moist sign the shirt I was wearing. It was a plain light blue t shirt and they signed the upper back of it. I actually had a lot of people always tell me how neat it looked. It was by chance, also. I had been walking around the mall with my friends when we saw a huge line.. so we got in it, haha. Few minutes later we found out it was to meet Moist and we thought it was worth it to stick around. When we got to the front, I didn’t have anything for them to sign except my shirt!

Several years ago Jamie Oliver was in town promoting his new cookbook and cookware at Macy’s. We patiently waited in line and Jamie spoke to each of his fans. He was as awesome in person as he is on tv.

My twin boys each got an autographed baseball tossed to them at their very first mlb game at Miller Stadium in Milwaukee by then Cubs pitcher Mark Prior! He only signed 4 baseballs and they were for my boys and 2 of their friends…who, coincidentally, each had a letter painted on their torso…C-U-B-S. It was a magical moment for all 4 boys!
