Most noteworthy autograph I have is Lance Armstrong’s. He rode up on me one day in Austin while I was doing volunteer work for his “Ride for the Roses” event he holds in Austin TX every year.

The first autograph I ever got was Bob Denver’s, yep Gilligan! He was signing books at Borders and my Aunt took my little sister, cousins and I. I was 11 at the time and couldn’t afford his book with my babysitting money so I brought a post-it note and a Sharpie. He was so confused that I didn’t have a book and totally rude about the whole thing. I still have that little square with his name though :)

I got about a million signatures from the characters at Disney World when I was a kid, and have had some (not particularly famous) authors sign their books. Outside of that, I once got Derek Jeter’s signature on a Starbucks cup. Be still, my beating heart!

MOORE ME! I haven’t gotten any signatures, but I did get to meet Peter Jennings several years ago before he passed away. I was at the Newark airport waiting at the pick-up area and a man walked and stood beside me waiting for his ride as well. I looked over and smiled like I normally would, turned away, then quickly turned my head again to take a second glance. He immediately knew I recognized him and was very polite. We chatted for a minute before his ride arrive. I miss seeing him on the news.
