Moore me! My mom once made me chase down Emmylou Harris for an autograph because she was too chicken to do it herself. She signed my sleeve and when we got home my mom cut off the sleeve and put it in a shadow box, which I still have.

I used to have an autograph book when I was younger that I bought at Disney World one year…I have everyone’s autograph that I met/knew for the 3 months after I bought it (including the staff at the hotel and characters from Disney World!).

I L-O-V-E Candice Olson. Alton Brown was in town last year and the hubby was not. But he seriously loves him some Good Eats. So I went over and got the book signed. Then, just after leaving (and the AM session ending) I felt like a horrible daughter knowing how much my dad also loves Good Eats…and he knew I was going. So, I went back for the afternoon session. Alton Brown said, “It’s argyle girl again. If I see you again it’s stalking.” I was shocked he remembered me. (You probably guessed I was wearing argyle…a sweater to be exact.) And thankfully I explain the situation so he didn’t think I was actually stalking him. I found out from my mom that my dad had assumed I would get one for him too knowing his love for the show and just told him it was a hubby thing. Guess it’s a good thing I went back! :)
