However, nothing is better than when your neice writes her name for the first time and gives you the artwork with it!

I saw Wheezer at the House of Blues a long time ago in New Orleans. It is a tradition there for musicians to hang out a bit after the show. Got my ticket signed. They are a nerdy little group, before nerdy became hip. Fun night.

When I was in high school, I was obsessed with The Corrs (an Irish pop band made up of three sisters and their brother…try not to be jealous of how insanely cool I was.)I got to see them live at our county fair my junior year and I ran back behind the stage after their show to try to snag an autograph. The band walked RIGHT by me, but not close enough to ask for an autograph. So, this roadie looking guy took my CD and Sharpie from me and walked around to a trailer (seemingly to get my CD autographed.) Then a weird thing happened – the band walked out of another trailer and got in their limo to leave. Then the roadie guy walks out of the trailer he walked into holding my CD which had autographs of three of the four siblings. I gave him a disbelieving look and said, “Um, how did you get this signed? They just left?” And he said, “Oh, you wanted the BAND to sign it?” Then he laughed and walked away.
To this day I STILL don’t know if my autographs are real or forged by a roadie. But, it made for a good (albeit, long) story!

I absolutely LOVE Candice Olson, and I’m from Canada so I am SOOOO happy to finally see a giveaway that I’m eligible to enter! The only signature that I’ve gotten before was from a singer from a Canadian rock band (Brian Volmer from Helix) for my dad hahaha he used to come into a restaurant that I worked at and one day I just told him my dad loved his band and could I get an autograph! I framed it up and gave it to my dad for his birthday :) I would be beyond excited if I could ever win this awesome giveaway :)
