MOORE ME . . . in 5th grade, before Alex Rodriguez was famous and while he was still a Seattle Mariner, and not a two-faced Ranger or Yankee, I got his autograph. Since I had posters of him all over my bedroom, you can only imagine how excited I was.

Moore Me! I got Pat Paulsen’s signature when he ran for President in 1968 – he was a regular on the Smothers Brothers TV show and ran as a joke, but actually got a lot of votes. His slogan was “We Cannot Stand Pat”. It was a long time ago, but in the interest of Presidential races, I thought I’d submit my Paulsen signature to win.

A friend was supposed to get a poster signed by the amazing Viggo Mortensen from Lord of the Rings, but he stopped signing before she even got to him… that would have been something that would be framed and cherished forever!

I’ve gotten autographs from the cast of Star Trek: The Next Generation, the band Barenaked Ladies, the author Michael Ondaatje, Anne Rice, and the voice actors of the cartoon Sailor Moon. When I was a teenager I used to ask famous people if I could touch their hair, which I now realize was pretty frigging weird.

I saw Howie Day when he was playing at a college, I was in highschool and my best friend and I took the amtrak to stay with my her brother so we could see the concert. We were definitely the most excited kids there.. also the youngest. We totally got autographs.
