I got my favorite big league baseball player to sign my hat. It was surprisingly easy–we just showed up early to the game with a big sign asking for his autograph Definitely helped that he wasn’t one of the teams big stars :-)

MOORE ME!! i wish i could say i have someone cool’s autograph, but whenever i’ve seen someone famous i’ve just let them be. i mean under the whole superstar persona is still a regular person. i wouldn’t want people constantly asking for my autograph.

While in university I went to many concerts and collected a few autographed CDs along the way. One of the concerts I was excited to see though was sold out when I got there; Canadian singer Hawksley Workman. I was feeling down and my friend and I were standing there deciding what to do instead… When who walks out of the venue right in front of us… But Hawksley himself. No one waiting in line for the show seemed to notice so my friend dragged me across the street to chat with him! He was great and even though I missed the show I got an autograph! I ended up seeing him in concert months later. A fun time!

When I was somewhere around 9 years old, I got a book that had addresses for famous people and I wrote to Emilio Estevez because my mom said she thought he was cute. He sent me back an autographed picture of himself. For some reason I thought my mom would be more impressed than she actually was…

…Once upon a time on my 11th birthday, my family and I ran into Sir-Mix-A-Lot at a sports grill near my brother’s college. He ended up rapping me “happy birthday” and signing my napkin. I felt very lucky considering I hadn’t yet hit puberty and baby definitely didn’t have any “back” yet ;)

MOORE ME! I’ve never had an autograph…other than my daughter’s John Hancock on my dining room wall. We actually ended up keeping a small portion of the “artwork” by taping off the edges and repainting around it, now her piece is framed by the original wall color. :)
