MOORE ME! I don’t collect autographs or anything yet somehow I’ve ended up with several. Jerry Lewis, George Foreman, James Doohan (Scotty on Star Trek), Dale Earnhardt, and Ted Mack (host of 1950’s variety show The Original Amateur Hour). How did that happen? :)

When I was in 6th grade we saw Naomi Campbell in the airport. I was too nervous/embarrassed to go ask for her autograph (and this was even pre-assault days), so we made my youngest sister go and get it for us. Imagine a 6 year old asking the 6ft model for her autograph, lisp and all! Hahahaha!

I have a signed picture of myself and JoePa (Joe Paterno – former head coach of Penn State University). Though it is a bit of a controversial topic, my husband and I both graduated from the university and still love it so dearly. And I love that picture, too!
Another one is that SOMEONE sent our wedding invitations to Disney and the White House. We got congratulation cards back from them :) Fun!

MOORE ME! I’ve never gotten an autograph of anyone famous, although I did try and buy a Taylor Swift autograph because I’m that obsessed with her. Then I realized getting an autograph is more about the story of getting rather than buying it so….and it was $200. HA-fat chance!

Iam kinda a freak about autographs..in music: Rascal Flatts & Nickelback. We are also huge NHRA drag racing fans and I have almost all of the Pro drivers signatures along with pictures with them. Moore Me! I have an autograph rejection story– I was about 10 and saw the redhead lady from The Facts of Life at the airport. I asked her for her autograph and she rudely said I don’t give autographs, please don’t bother me!! Wow, I was mortified. Needless to say, I’ve never thought about asking for an autograph since then!!

There is a great book called 365 Thank Yous about one man’s quest to send a note of thanks each day for one year. It was an exercise in gratitude that changed his life. I was lucky enough to hear him speak and he even signed my copy of the book. To top it off, I sent him a thank you note and he sent one right back!
