I have a ton of signatures from a lot of fiction writers. I like to go to local readings at a cute little indie bookstore and I try to get the book of the author doing the reading and having it signed.

Moore me!! And my favorite autograph is probably my signed Martha Stewart Entertaining book, though I didn’t get it autographed in person, so that kinda brings that one down a bit. Fave in-person has to be Jack Black. He autographed his CD for me and included a little NC-17 doodle.

Oh, and I guess we also have a basketball signed by the entire 2008 KU Jayhawks national championship team – but that’s my husbands and I prefer to keep it tucked away for nobody to see. Go K-State!

I’ve got a lot of cd’s autographed from bands I love, but the best autorgraph I’ve gotten was Harry Connick Jr’s – after one of his concerts a little over 10 years ago…I was SO excited to meet him!

We sent a wedding invitation to the White House and received a congratulatory notecard with the Obamas’ signatures on it. They’re probably printed on but we still think it’s pretty nifty!

When I was in grade 7 one of the actresses from the Canadian series ‘Degrassi Junior High’ came to my school in the Canadian Northwest Territories (which is really far north) and I got her autograph. I can’t for the life of me remember the name of the actress or the character. Clearly, they didn’t send the big stars up north!
