Fab Freebie: Market Fresh

This week’s giveaway comes to from two awesome sources of inspiration who are dishing out quite a worldly and wonderful prize for one lucky reader. First up is Fresh Home, one of the few magazines to buck the vanishing shelter pub trend and actually make its debut last year (you may have noticed them in our monthly sponsor shout out last week). This fresh quarterly mag focuses on home improvement and decor ideas for anyone with a finite budget who still wants to make their home beautiful. We can definitely relate. And in a genius turn of events, Fresh Home has teamed up with one of their (and our) favorite sources, Cost Plus World Market, to score an $100 gift card for one lucky YHL reader!

The great thing about Cost Plus World Market is that they’ve got such a wide range of offerings that you could practically do a whole room from there without it looking matchy-matchy in the least. They have everything from couches, coffee tables, and rugs to pillows, lighting, and accessories. Heck, we even purchased the seat cushions for our new office makeover and the rug in our master bedroom there.

    I’m FRESH! I like to take a cool shower, make sure the air is on while I’m getting ready (it gets hot putting on make-up/fixing hair) then pile on the deoderant! Many times I’ve also been letting my hair dry to avoid the blow dryer and straightener.

    I’M FRESH

    I love having a glass of half pomegranate/half Pellegrino when I’m sitting outside. It’s refreshing and cools me down.

    I’m fresh!

    I keep some fresh smelling deodorant handy in each handbag and in my desk at work. I walk and take public transportation to work in DC, and can turn into a puddle before my day even begins!

    I am Fresh! Or should I say we are fresh! My husband enjoys sweet tea while I enjoy unsweetened. I make two large batches of each tea and put them in plastic containers with tappers on them. The tea ends up last all week long, an idea I got from my brother Ryan, Thank You Ry-Guy. It’s GREAT to have both on available to surprise guest who also stop by.
    We also like to treat ourselves to an ice cream from the Weyauwega Dinner, which is located straight across from our house. It’s nice to know we are supporting a local business.

    I’m fresh!

    I like to eat frozen grapes and blueberries in the summer. They’re like eating popsicles but without the guilt!

    Can you ever go wrong with ice cream? But since I can’t have it all the time, I usually lug my big water bottle with me wherever I go!

    I’m FRESH!
    This was one of the worst summers possible to buy a 1920’s craftsman with NO AC… But we did! At least the previous owner built an outdoor shower – so that’s my cool off treat.

    I’M FRESH!

    A shower in the morning…possibly followed by one in the afternoon is the only thing that can freshen me up in this Alabama heat. Oh, and Raspberry Lemonade Crystal Light. :)

    Would love this gift card for a new bookshelf for the bedroom.

    I’m fresh! A big glass of ice water… But I also love a big gulp of water from the back yard water hose… So good in the summer!

    I love a glass of cold seltzer with a sprig of chocolate mint. Air conditioning doesn’t hurt either! :)

    I’M FRESH!! I drink water all day, but there is something very refreshing about a glass of fresh fruity tea … blackberry, raspberry, peach … some stevia to sweeten and YUM!

    I’m fresh, and I usually jump in the shower for a quick rinse if I’ve been doing anything strenuous. I try to keep as hydrated as possible too!

    I’m FRESH out of money now that we FINALLY finished our COOL basement. We need a place to get out of the heat of our house and this gift card would help buy some place to sit! I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed that I get picked!
