This will be my first Father’s Day (my son was born in February), so I’m pretty excited to celebrate! And my favorite thing about the person I’m celebrating (my dad) is that he’s incredibly generous with his time, and is always willing to help me with any project I’ve got going on. And lucky for me, my dad is a very handy guy with plenty of tools! haha.

My dad once built me a stable for my Breyer’s Horses because the stable they’d ordered from the Sears Catalog wasn’t going to arrive in time. He spent all night on it, even missing Christmas Eve dinner, so that I’d have it for Christmas morning. It’s a thousand times more beautiful than the Breyer stable and I cherish it.

The manliest thing about my sweet husband is the way he is scrambling and grunting around the house trying to get everything ready before our first little one arrives in a couple of months!
