Fab Freebie: Made In Portland

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

As our time in Portland comes to an end, we’re excited to share that the random winner of this very Oregonian prize is… Joyce (who would go all the way back to the late 1700s to check out the Constitutional Convention). Congrats Joyce!

Since we’re headed to Oregon this week, we thought we’d send a little bit of Oregon your way in return. So how does $500 in product from Portland-based Rejuvenation sound? They started off as an architectural salvage shop, but now they serve up authentic lighting, hardware, and other home staples from a whole slew of time periods and styles. We’re hoping to make an in-person stop at their store while in PDX, but for everyone else there’s plenty to browse online and by catalog. And with a handful of benjamins at your disposal, this is your shot to get a real statement piece for your space.

Rejuvenation Giveaway

  • PRIZE: $500 to spend at Rejuvenation
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “REJUVENATE ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … if you could travel back in time and live in any previous era, what would you choose? Wanna live (or relive) the 60’s or 70’s love-fest? Prefer to try on the glam flapper days of the 20’s? Or do you want to go really old school and see how the colonists lived?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, February 22nd at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States or Canada (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Rejuvenation.

    REJUVENATE ME!
So…there are too many eras I’d love to visit, however if it were an extended vacay I’d say the 1920’s where I’d find Ernest Hemingway and just be around him for a day, whether or not he was as big of a jerk as they say he is my utmost favorite author. His works let me see a completely different time free of others views, maybe because he is so self absorbed.
Thanks for hosting this give away sounds fun :)

I would pick the 60s, mostly because I think it would be fascinating to live through the space race. And I love the music. :)

“REJUVENATE ME” I would love to go back to around 1910 or so I love the styles in both furniture and clothing and music around that time plus there were so many exciting things happening so many changes in history. It would be amazing to be a witness to.

Take me back to the Italian Renaissance. I love the art, the architecture, the wardrobe, and the gardens.

Hoping to go to the PDX Home & Garden show this weekend and possibly meeting you two. Enjoy your time in the Rose City and Rejuvenation is definitely worth a trip.

This may seem cliche, but I would want to live in 1st century Palestine when Jesus was there. Who knows, maybe I could have even got to meet him in person. How incredible would that be.

    REJUVENATE ME!!!

If I could get into Doc Brown’s Delorean and go back in time, I’d go back to the 1930s. I love that era, I love old time radio, I collect tube radios, I love, love, love anything old (my fiancee can atest to that). Even though the times then were tough (Great Depression, threats of war), it is a time that draws me as I hear stories told by my grandma about living on the farm and working hard and the closeness of family. An ideal fantasy for me would be to go back there and have life just like on “The Waltons”.

    P.S – YAY RICHMOND!!!

“REJUVENATE ME” Such a tough question. I’m living in a house from the 50’s. But I enjoy the details of the pre-WW2 houses. It would be fun to travel back in time to the 1910’s and 20’s. Especially if I could live in a fancy house with an awesome porch. Sure would miss air conditioning though. Maybe a sleeping porch would be appropriate! Those original craftsman houses…
