Fab Freebie: Line Drawings

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries –  see who won below!***

Thanks to random.org’s, our three winners are Jane (who considers herself an accomplished doodler – especially during a meeting), Molly T (who dubbed herself the least crafty person ever) and Lizz (who’s no artist, but is killer at Pictionary). Congrats ladies!

You guys probably know Freshline Illustration from our monthly sponsor shout outs, but soon three of you will know them as the ones who hooked you up with some sweet art / pillows / stationery for your own home. And many of Freshline’s colorful and playful illustrations can be personalized with monograms, anniversary dates, or even your full family tree.

Freshline Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A $50 gift card towards any purchase from Freshline Illustration
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “DRAW ME!” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … tell us about your drawing skills. Are you a trained artist or the last one picked during a game of Pictionary? Either way, what’s your favorite thing to sketch or draw? Maybe you’re especially skilled at human portraits – or you just like to doodle your name in the margins.
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, March 2nd at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: Three
  • PRIZE SHIPS: Anywhere in the world!
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winners will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday morning for the announcement of our winners. Good luck…

Note: We weren’t paid or perk’d for hosting this giveaway, we just like rewarding our lovely readers! See our Giveaway FAQs page for more info. Pics from Freshline Illustration.

DRAW ME! I doodle! My desk is covered in papers with odd little drawings in the margins and black spaces.

Draw me…for your drawing!! I’m no artist, but find myself involved in doodles during conference calls…haha! My mother, however, went back to college when I started. As a database administrator, she returned to school and finsihed out an art degree!! She’s used her skills to do paintings for family members, a nursery mural for a niece, and I hope to use her in our nursery for baby #1 (on the way)!

DRAW ME! When I was little, I was horse crazy, just like any other 8 year old girl, so I thought I drew horses pretty well, but now I definitely have zero drawing skills.

I’m a terrible artist! Luckily my husband is a talented artist (in the eyes of our 2 and 4 year-olds) and entertains them with his Magna-doodle artwork for hours. :)

    DRAW ME!

I’m an atrocious drawer, but an accomplished doodler. I love doodling my way through a meeting or phonecall. I have learnt that I focus better when my hands are busy, but generally have found that it’s more productive to give myself some wool to work with rather than a pen & paper!

DRAW ME! I am not a trained artist but I love sketching and doodling. Oh what fun it is to curve my pencil or black gel ink pen to create furls, swirls, and curls. I really enjoy creating and designing my own fonts on paper as well :) I hope the world never runs out of gel ink pens – they are the best for doodling!

    DRAW ME!

I can draw cartoony flowers, palm trees, and transparent cubes, but my shining glory is my cartoon turtle that I taught myself to draw years ago. I had copied the turtle from one of those “draw this and send it in and maybe we’ll admit you to our art school” offers in the back of a magazine. haha! I didn’t send it in, in case anybody’s wondering.
