Fab Freebie: Line Drawings

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries –  see who won below!***

Thanks to random.org’s, our three winners are Jane (who considers herself an accomplished doodler – especially during a meeting), Molly T (who dubbed herself the least crafty person ever) and Lizz (who’s no artist, but is killer at Pictionary). Congrats ladies!

You guys probably know Freshline Illustration from our monthly sponsor shout outs, but soon three of you will know them as the ones who hooked you up with some sweet art / pillows / stationery for your own home. And many of Freshline’s colorful and playful illustrations can be personalized with monograms, anniversary dates, or even your full family tree.

Freshline Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A $50 gift card towards any purchase from Freshline Illustration
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “DRAW ME!” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … tell us about your drawing skills. Are you a trained artist or the last one picked during a game of Pictionary? Either way, what’s your favorite thing to sketch or draw? Maybe you’re especially skilled at human portraits – or you just like to doodle your name in the margins.
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, March 2nd at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: Three
  • PRIZE SHIPS: Anywhere in the world!
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winners will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday morning for the announcement of our winners. Good luck…

Note: We weren’t paid or perk’d for hosting this giveaway, we just like rewarding our lovely readers! See our Giveaway FAQs page for more info. Pics from Freshline Illustration.

“DRAW ME!” I love to draw, but I am no good at it. There is just something theraputic about pencil to paper even if what I come up with could be out done by my 4 year old.

I’m a graphic designer turned stay st home mom. I wish I had time to create the cool stuff Freshline Illustration makes but I don’t. Instead I cut my kids peanut butter and jelly sandwiches into rocket shapes and make omelette faces/zombies.

I was an art major for a year in college before realizing that I am better at designing via computer than hand drawings. Still to this day though I doodle out all my game plans and ideas.

I almost never draw, and have no real talent beyond stick figures, even though I understand that exercising the right side of your brain makes you smarter on the left side, too. So I really should do it more often, and not just in Pictionary, which I love, by the way.

I am a miserable artist! I’m not exaggerating in the least. I’d like to think I make up for it in other creative graphic ways, but drawing is just not my forte. Still, I’ll sometimes do pattern doodles in the margins :)

    DRAW ME!

I’m finishing up my final year for graphic design which thankfully doesn’t have to imply that I’m great at drawing. During my drawing courses I quickly saw improvement in my skills but it takes so much practice and patience everyday that I know it isn’t my cup of tea.

I’m currently beginning the creation of a children’s book and instead of drawing I’m using collage for the pictures. Super excited I am!

DRAW ME! The only time I ever really would draw was in high school history class. To pass the time during dry lectures a friend and I would pass drawings of little monks performing various activities, from step aerobics to gardening or playing badminton. Sometimes we would insert them into the historical time periods we were learning about…monks protesting the war in Berkeley in 1969 was my personal favorite.
