Fab Freebie: Line Drawings

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries –  see who won below!***

Thanks to random.org’s, our three winners are Jane (who considers herself an accomplished doodler – especially during a meeting), Molly T (who dubbed herself the least crafty person ever) and Lizz (who’s no artist, but is killer at Pictionary). Congrats ladies!

You guys probably know Freshline Illustration from our monthly sponsor shout outs, but soon three of you will know them as the ones who hooked you up with some sweet art / pillows / stationery for your own home. And many of Freshline’s colorful and playful illustrations can be personalized with monograms, anniversary dates, or even your full family tree.

Freshline Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A $50 gift card towards any purchase from Freshline Illustration
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “DRAW ME!” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … tell us about your drawing skills. Are you a trained artist or the last one picked during a game of Pictionary? Either way, what’s your favorite thing to sketch or draw? Maybe you’re especially skilled at human portraits – or you just like to doodle your name in the margins.
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, March 2nd at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: Three
  • PRIZE SHIPS: Anywhere in the world!
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winners will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday morning for the announcement of our winners. Good luck…

Note: We weren’t paid or perk’d for hosting this giveaway, we just like rewarding our lovely readers! See our Giveaway FAQs page for more info. Pics from Freshline Illustration.

Draw me! I can’t draw a thing. My husband can but doesn’t. I wish I had a magic dust to sprinkle over him when he sleeps so he would do what ever I asked him. Yeah that would be awesome.

I’m a terrible, terrible artist myself. I know this probably sounds weird, but I love watching other people (who ARE talented artists) draw!

DRAW ME!!! The only doodling I can do is a sketch of a room I’m working on. Squares, Circles and lines are easy. ;)

Draw me! And I appreciate from-scratch artistic abilities, but I’m a photographer, so I can only capture what has already been created. If stick figures were considered fine art, I’d be very rich.

Draw me! I’m sort of well-known for my stick-figure pole vaulter that I drew during a New Years Eve game of Cranium when my husband and I were on our 3rd date…everyone said how remarkably it resembled a pole vaulter. Everyone except my husband, that is…he never did figure out what I was drawing and we went on to lose the game :)

DRAW ME! I’m a very unpracticed but OK draw-er, have always been a doodler since elementary school, and enjoy making abstract, intricate geometric patterns that fill an entire page. However, I barely draw now, since I feed my artistic side by creating knit and crochet pieces from stuff I see but can’t find a free pattern for!

I took art lessons from the age of 3 all the way through high school. I like drawing whatever “strikes my fancy”, although these days my art is limited to a lot of “Mommy trace my hand” or “Do you want to color Cinderella, Mermaid, Thomas, Lighting McQueen, etc..with me?”
