Fab Freebie: Line Drawings

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries –  see who won below!***

Thanks to random.org’s, our three winners are Jane (who considers herself an accomplished doodler – especially during a meeting), Molly T (who dubbed herself the least crafty person ever) and Lizz (who’s no artist, but is killer at Pictionary). Congrats ladies!

You guys probably know Freshline Illustration from our monthly sponsor shout outs, but soon three of you will know them as the ones who hooked you up with some sweet art / pillows / stationery for your own home. And many of Freshline’s colorful and playful illustrations can be personalized with monograms, anniversary dates, or even your full family tree.

Freshline Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A $50 gift card towards any purchase from Freshline Illustration
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “DRAW ME!” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … tell us about your drawing skills. Are you a trained artist or the last one picked during a game of Pictionary? Either way, what’s your favorite thing to sketch or draw? Maybe you’re especially skilled at human portraits – or you just like to doodle your name in the margins.
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, March 2nd at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: Three
  • PRIZE SHIPS: Anywhere in the world!
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winners will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday morning for the announcement of our winners. Good luck…

Note: We weren’t paid or perk’d for hosting this giveaway, we just like rewarding our lovely readers! See our Giveaway FAQs page for more info. Pics from Freshline Illustration.

    DRAW ME!

I actually had minor in art and loved pen and ink. I use my “skills” now in scrapbooking. My favorite thing to do though is doodle, especially the alphabet!

I love to just doodle… I was going to art school and we had to draw a still life… It turned out so much better than I expected, so it’s what I am most proud of :)

I am a horrible artist, even at drawing stick people. I am a teacher and I always tell my students that I failed art class when I was their age. I think they believe me. :-)

    DRAW ME!

I am a TERRIBLE draw-er. However, I am FANTASTIC at Pictionary. I do sometimes sketch out rooms before I do any decorating, but I’m usually the only one that can see the vision…

Draw Me…..First off, I love Pictonary. Not because I can draw, but because I love the challenge of trying to figure out what someone else drew. I normally draw a stick figure with a big head and three hairs coming out of it’s head. And for whatever reason, this stick person always has to have a string of pearls. It makes me laugh every time I draw her.

DRAW ME! While I don’t consider myself to be a great artist, I still manage to get some points scored in Pictionary! My most horrifying drawing memory was an intro to drawing class that I took in college, and I literally drew a stick figure for my self portrait because I had no idea how to draw! It was pretty awful, but I got a little better as the semester went on at least (especially as we moved to abstract drawing!)

DRAW ME! I consider myself a decently good (untrained)artist. I could draw a pretty good horse in grade school. I would say I am better at cartooney stuff…my drawings do not typically resemble real life. You would totally want me on your team in pictionary!

BTW, these pieces of artwork are sooo cute!

I’ve never been a very creative person, but I’ve always wanted to be. I took a couple extra art classes in hopes that my latent talent would emerge, but no luck. I feel like I can tackle many of the DIY projects but artwork is the one that will elude me.
