Fab Freebie: Line Drawings

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries –  see who won below!***

Thanks to random.org’s, our three winners are Jane (who considers herself an accomplished doodler – especially during a meeting), Molly T (who dubbed herself the least crafty person ever) and Lizz (who’s no artist, but is killer at Pictionary). Congrats ladies!

You guys probably know Freshline Illustration from our monthly sponsor shout outs, but soon three of you will know them as the ones who hooked you up with some sweet art / pillows / stationery for your own home. And many of Freshline’s colorful and playful illustrations can be personalized with monograms, anniversary dates, or even your full family tree.

Freshline Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A $50 gift card towards any purchase from Freshline Illustration
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “DRAW ME!” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … tell us about your drawing skills. Are you a trained artist or the last one picked during a game of Pictionary? Either way, what’s your favorite thing to sketch or draw? Maybe you’re especially skilled at human portraits – or you just like to doodle your name in the margins.
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, March 2nd at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: Three
  • PRIZE SHIPS: Anywhere in the world!
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winners will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday morning for the announcement of our winners. Good luck…

Note: We weren’t paid or perk’d for hosting this giveaway, we just like rewarding our lovely readers! See our Giveaway FAQs page for more info. Pics from Freshline Illustration.

DRAW ME! I taught myself how to Photoshop, and create original images using vectors when I was 16 years old. I ended up honing into my skills more when I worked as a graphic designer for my alma mater, Boston College, while I was at school. And, I draw awesome Pandas.

DRAW ME! That Love Lives Here would look awesome in our recently revamped “Master” bedroom. I haven’t much talent for drawing, but my husband laughs because I feel the need to draw cheesy hearts, flowers, and birds on our white board, chalk board, and every birthday card I give :)

    DRAW ME!
I’m a margin name doodler (is that a word?) for sure!
But I also love to paint with acrylics on canvas. My most recent attempt was a color blocking piece that was just a ton of color in various rectalinear designs.

DRAW ME! I like to draw things in a row.. circles, squares, faces. I like things lined up in a row. When I lived in Richmond, I made my then boyfriend take me to the place where they parked the Loving’s Produce trucks so I could photograph them. Identical pastel colored trucks in a row? Yes, please!

Draw Me! My drawing and painting specialty is trees, not live ones with leaves and everything though, just the branches, so I’m not exactly artist of the year. We do have one of my tree paintings up in our house. It’s just a plain white tree on a black background though, nothing special.

DRAW ME! I really enjoy art… I took art classes throughout high school, but since then, not so much… However, I have been able to use my skills as an elementary school teacher and used to illustrate my board with theme related pictures. Some day when I have time, perhaps I’ll pick up my pencil, er – oil pastels, again.

DRAW ME! So….. would circles, squares, triangles and rectangles count? That’s about the extent of my drawing skills. But I should say that I’m really good at them! Plus, the added benefit is that it makes me feel young again … like about 4 or 5 years old, when I first learned to draw them.
