It is now 6:21pm. And a good ‘ol Dada rocking her to sleep. Yep, our first child and we’re slightly overwhelmed at times :)

I was in the middle of redecorating my living room/kitchen (it’s one big open space) when I got the call last week that my Dad was having emergency surgery in Florida. Leaving my red kitchen half primed and tools and paint everywhere, I got on the next plane to Florida. Luckily my Dad is ok today, he almost died before the surgery, and I’m home and ready to tackle my project…after a good nights sleep.
p.s. I LOVE Jen Lancaster and even if I don’t win I will definitely be getting this book!
