I always use the Internet and cookbooks while whipping up meals. One of my new favorite resources is “cooks illustrated” magazines. They gone explanations for certain techniques and provide product recommendations in a variety of budgets.

My husband has a 6th sense which is like a GPS, he always knows the right way to go. Unfortunately he doesn’t know how FAR it is. So while we eventually got where we wanted to go in Rome, we walked for a LONG time to get there. We later checked the map and he took the shortest course, it was just further than expected.
Oh well, it was Rome, I’m not complaining.
