I need help everywhere! I’m a tried-and-true Libra, so I have a heck of a time making decisions. The thing I need most help with, though, is directions! I am hopelessly lost without my GPS. Before I had it, I came to the realization that if I thought I knew where I was going, then I should do the exact opposite — because I was ALWAYS WRONG!

Now that I’m actually having to think about it, I look for guidance in every thing I do and every aspect of my life. I frequently use maps and my gps, cookbooks and cooking websites, blog tutorials, consult my friends/family… I google everything…seriously — even down to symptoms when I’m sick. I need to know what I have! Now that I think about all of this, I realize I’m very unadventurous. But, that’s what makes me, me!

I’m always in search of guidance… whether it’s cooking a family meal, or figuring out how best to mark a set of tests (I teach high school), help is always welcome! My husband and I just bought a new house (we move in two weeks!) and it’s in need of a lotta love (and renovations). On top of that, I’m 6 months preggo with our first baby, so we’re in need of a ton of guidance these days (both with baby & the house!)

I rely on the web a lot: for maps when I need to go somewhere I’ve never been, for cooking advice (for my mother, that is – sometimes she asks me to google something she wants to try), for make up tutorials or hair dos, and also for decorating ideas.
Speaking of which, I could use a hand in that department! My family and I just moved to a new apartment and my room is the only one that’s not ready yet ’cause I haven’t got a clue what to do in there!

The most guidance I’ve ever needed is when we were buying our current house and my guidance came through my faith in God. I think I prayed everyday for God to pull us through the mess and the headache of buying our house and as usual, He provided. We feel completely blessed that we have been able to settle in and start a new chapter in our lives.
