I’m bound and determined to get some pros in to reno my condo bathroom this year, but I’m the one making the design choices, and I’m see-sawing between something light and fairly simple (since it’s a small master) — white subway tile; textured wallpaper or pale paint, etc. — OR some splashy, graphic, modern wallpaper, something possibly Moroccan, along with tuquoise subway tile. So: simple and safe? Or splashy and expensive? Oh, and did I mention the floor tile is terra-cotta? I feel myself gravitating toward the play-if-safe mode, partly so I don’t scare away prospective buyers years from now. Sigh.
