Whenever I need someone to help guide me through tough times in life, I always talk to my dog. She’s a great listener, is always eager to sit in my lap and keep me company, and gives me plenty of kisses on the cheek to keep me encouraged.

I love my job teaching second graders and although I am a pretty awesome teacher (and not above tooting my own horn), I often seek guidance from those wiser and even more awesome than myself. Lets just be honest…I ask for guidance in practically every area of my life! Two examples: I HAVE to use some sort of navigation when driving and my sister-in-law often asks me “How do you get dressed when I’m not around.” Simple answer I grew up with 3 sisters! I print out maps from Googlemaps, use a GPS…and use an old fashioned map…all on my lap, while my husband drives…makes me feel all safe :)
