If you read this morning’s post about DIYing some wood shelves for the nursery, then it should come as no surprise that this week’s giveaway is from Kreg Tools. They’re giving one of you the chance to take home their Kreg Jig, so – no matter your skill level – you can feel like real woodworker.
After all, I hardly consider myself to be a master craftsman, but after my latest shelf-building adventure I’m itching to tackle more wood-related projects. They really can be addicting…

I am/ was an artist (buying a new home, getting married, teaching, an coaching girls lacrosse and a kids climbing team, has put my artistic side on hold for the time being) and would make 2-3 foot tall dolls and create travel boxes for the which would open out and become a personal evironment for each doll. I’m gettin’ Jiggy. I want to make a custom book shelf for my growing Louis Lamour book collection that is now stacked on a dresser. I recently bought my Kreg Jig and have used it to move some kitchen cabinets around, changing the configuration of my kitchen in preparation for new granite countertops. I used oak and found that the Kreg pocketholes were so very easy to make. I got my brother a jig for his birthday because he was rebuilding a camper that had dry rot damage. We had a blast while replacing the rotten wood with fresh wood and attaching the patchwork framing with Kreg’s pocketholes!!! I can’t wait to start my next project…I’m going to build the coffee table using the plans received in my jig for my VFW Posts silent auction fundraiser next month…

I’m getting JIGGY with it! My husband and i would love to build a nice piece of furniture together…I’m thinking a well built sturdy craft table. We’ve built other things together and just putting our heads together to come up with a workable solution is so rewarding. The project we did before was a rack to hold all my craft ribbon.
