Fab Freebie: Gettin’ Jiggy With It

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries***

If you read this morning’s post about DIYing some wood shelves for the nursery, then it should come as no surprise that this week’s giveaway is from Kreg Tools. They’re giving one of you the chance to take home their Kreg Jig, so – no matter your skill level – you can feel like real woodworker.

Kreg Jig Materials

After all, I hardly consider myself to be a master craftsman, but after my latest shelf-building adventure I’m itching to tackle more wood-related projects. They really can be addicting…

Shelves Close

In addition to the Jig itself, this week’s winner will also be snagging a 675-piece Screw Kit, a Face Clamp and a set of project plans to get you started. So with all that at your disposal, I promise not to be jealous if you build something more complex than me. Here’s how to enter:

  • PRIZE: A Kreg Jig, Screw Kit, Face Clamp and set of project plans.
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “I’M GETTIN’ JIGGY” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … tell us about your dream wood-related project. Is there something you’ve always wished you could build? Or a renovation that you dream of tackling with your own two hands?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, April 7th at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: All 50 of the United States
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday. Good luck!

A dream wood project would be to renovate an old Victorian home into a modern meets traditional style.

What a FANTASTIC prize!! My husband just got one for his birthday a few weeks ago. He and his dad are wood workers and my hubby is so excited to use it. We have a few projects in the que that it will really come in handy for. Something I would love for us to build together is a bedroom set. We may or may not do it – but I think it’d be really neat to do and so special to have for a long time. :)

I’M GETTIN’ JIGGY! We just closed on a 1920’s bungalow, and there are no end of Kregable projects! First would probably be shelving in the pantry, or maybe a built-in sideboard in the DR. If we get the Kreg, I’ll be the first husband who was ever asked to stop building more storage!

I’m always getting my husband to help me make things with the tools he has. It takes forever sometimes, because we just make due sometimes. It would be nice to have a tool to make the job easier for once. Currently I want a new little bookcase for our piano books.

We live in an 86 year old Craftsman bungalow & I’d love to make a built-in buffet in the dining room like one that might have been here originally. Also a murphy bed/storage unit for the tiny second bedroom. So far my woodworking projects have been mostly outdoor projects (tables, plant stands), I guess because I think mistakes will get less scrutiny in the backyard.
