Fab Freebie: Get Your Fixture Fix

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random person getting their fixture fix this week is… Anne L (who simply described the problem in her bathroom as: “Pink carpet in bathroom?! Nasty!”) Congrats Anne!

Got a bathroom that could use a new faucet? Or new showerhead? Or new just about every fixture? Well then you’re in luck. The generous folks at Moen are dishing out an ENTIRE suite of bathroom fixtures in your choice of three of their most popular collections: the modern 90 Degree, the sexy Voss or the classic Boardwalk. You’ll get:

  • Two bathroom faucets
  • A rainshower showerhead and matching tub spout
  • One 18-inch towel bar
  • Two towel rings, including their new retractable model
  • A pivoting toilet paper holder
  • Two double robe hooks
  • A curved Shower Rod

And just in case you’re not up for DIY-ing the install of all of these sparkly fixtures, they’re gonna toss in a $250 Visa gift card to help you hire it out (or to spend on another finishing touch to your new bathroom makeover). That’s a grand total of up to $1,600 in prizes. I’d say one of you is about to clean up real nice.

Moen Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A new suite of Moen bathroom fixtures (in 90 Degree, Voss or Boardwalk) and a $250 Visa gift card
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “FIX ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what in your bathroom is in the most desperate need of an update? Are you faced with old cracked tiles in your shower every morning? Does your mirror and vanity combo leave something to be desired? Or is your old leaky faucet enough to put you in a bad mood?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Aug 22th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Moen.

    FIX ME!

I need to reglaze my tub or replace it. It likes to hold water, and I cannot figure out how to get rid of the stains. Ick!

I would love to FIX ME a better master bath! The shower surround’s seam is always in need of recaulking, it seems. Oh, and the peeling wallpaper (thanks to many years of steamy showers, just to save my neck and shoulders the strain of reaching up and pulling down the wallpaper) could go. As could those very mid-80s touches like the faux stone linoleum and oak cabinet front that is a zero-character addition to our old farmhouse…

    FIX ME!

In our existing bathroom it is definitely the shower/bath tile (or weird liner that needs to be replace with tile). And a close second would be the fixtures in that bath, so this is a perfect giveaway for us!

My master bath is circa 1969… words do not describe the updating that it needs. The only bright spot is that it is in really nice condition.

    FIX ME…
I don’t even know where to begin with our bathroom. First there is the Harvest Gold fixtures (toilet and bathtub), followed by the yellowing linoleum that we discovered when we ripped up the carpet (YES! they had carpet in the bathroom). Luckily we already painted over the sponge painting the walls were covered in with a dignified grey. I’d say the new fixtures would go a long way to improving (and we might just use the gift card towards replacing the harvest gold fixtures…)

Just LAST week my shower/faucet handle stopped working properly. I can’t run a bath for my daughter! I would do a happy dance if I didn’t have to buy a new fixture. Lol.

    FIX ME!!!!!
My Bathroom is an un-updated mess. The worst part about it is the gross caulk around the shower doors. It is the only bathroom in the house so I have been putting off removing and redoing the caulking, but I am going to have to break down and actually do it soon…perhaps new fixtures would be the push I need to get to it!

We have the worst bathroom ever! When we moved into our house we had to redo all the horribly stained carpet. We decided to take out the carpet (yuck) from the vanity area of the upstairs bathroom. We’ve lived with bare plywood, stained by splashes of water and cat accidents, for six months. The separate bath and toilet space came to us with peeling linoleum that is horribly stained from the formerly leaking shower AND toilet! We badly need a makeover.
