Fab Freebie: Get Your Fixture Fix

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random person getting their fixture fix this week is… Anne L (who simply described the problem in her bathroom as: “Pink carpet in bathroom?! Nasty!”) Congrats Anne!

Got a bathroom that could use a new faucet? Or new showerhead? Or new just about every fixture? Well then you’re in luck. The generous folks at Moen are dishing out an ENTIRE suite of bathroom fixtures in your choice of three of their most popular collections: the modern 90 Degree, the sexy Voss or the classic Boardwalk. You’ll get:

  • Two bathroom faucets
  • A rainshower showerhead and matching tub spout
  • One 18-inch towel bar
  • Two towel rings, including their new retractable model
  • A pivoting toilet paper holder
  • Two double robe hooks
  • A curved Shower Rod

And just in case you’re not up for DIY-ing the install of all of these sparkly fixtures, they’re gonna toss in a $250 Visa gift card to help you hire it out (or to spend on another finishing touch to your new bathroom makeover). That’s a grand total of up to $1,600 in prizes. I’d say one of you is about to clean up real nice.

Moen Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A new suite of Moen bathroom fixtures (in 90 Degree, Voss or Boardwalk) and a $250 Visa gift card
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “FIX ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what in your bathroom is in the most desperate need of an update? Are you faced with old cracked tiles in your shower every morning? Does your mirror and vanity combo leave something to be desired? Or is your old leaky faucet enough to put you in a bad mood?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Aug 22th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Moen.

Fix ME!!!! We have 2 baths. One is TOTALLY unusable due to water damage from a badly leaking roof. We will have to completely re-do that bath. Will need to replace the sink, tub, fixtures, everything. The other bath has a shower stall that is missing the door and the sink fixtures need replaced along with the shower head. There is also only 1 towel bar and one hook. Please help!!!

    FIX ME!

Well, we’re doing renovations of the entire basement to make it a livable suite for me to live in while I study my Master’s of Architecture, so basically, what could use an update in the bathroom? does everything count? The only thing we’ve secured is a shower platform; no toilet, or vanity or sink yet. It would be awesome to nail down an awesome faucet and shower head and all the other prizes

I seriously have a non working Moen bathroom faucet in our garden tub right this moment. By non working I mean, the water pressue on the cold water side is almost nothing that we get a thin stream of water. We haven’t figured a way to fix it without breaking the unit out as per a plumber’s suggestion. I hope some one can share a way to fix the problem without damage to the structure.

Our poor shower surround has seen many (hundreds) of better days. The previous owner used strapping tape to cover a couple cracks that it has. Not pretty, or functional either. It’s on our list of things to replace – it will happen someday!

My husband and I have a foreclosure home and two girls under 2. We cannot afford to update our bathrooms-the faucets are badly water stained (passed the point of cleaning) and the finish on the sink faucets are chipped BADLY. We have no towel or toilet paper holders, and the old, ugly ball and chain type lighting. our cabinets have nail polish on them from the previous owners and it is so embarrassing! Please choose us, we never win anything! :(

Where do I start? Oh yeah, the 80’s inspired floor, the ugly St. Patty’s green counter and pretty much the shower tiles. It’ll be awesome to win this so we can be in love with our bathroom. After all, we use it everyday! Cheers!

“FIX ME!” said the kid/guest bathroom from 1958! My shower head jiggles around it’s 3″ hole (without a back cover/gasket for the wall. My tub spout is merely a pipe sticking out sometimes covered with a rubber elephant safety cover @ bathtime. AND all is surrounded by a warm cat puke brown set of tiles with a blush-tiled (cracked) floor. My vanity, I cannot even describe it, is so old and lame and is on the (long) list for updating. Wishing for the Moen gods to smile on us ( those @ random.org, too)!
Have been loving getting to know you and the Bowers during some much needed “escape” time the past 3 days! Can’t wait to dig in more.

I bought a 112 year old rowhouse, and have been redo-ing it on a graduate student budget. Someone had done some HORRIBLE work to the house, such as sawing straight through 3/4 of the floor joist to run the toilet line through it, so I had to gut the bathroom to the studs (and floor joists) and need everything new! I have already ripped out the chimney that had been built in and partially collapsed, which someone later sealed off and built a wall with the shower in front of it, lol. I could definitely use some nice bathroom help!

It’s neon teal, with gloppy sponge painted peach butterflies, a dated (and smelly!) old vanity and weird pink/tan toilet and tiles. Oh, and the first thing I did when we moved in was cut a giant spider the previous owners painted into the ceiling in there. Hubba Hubba! Please please pick me!!!

When we moved into our current place, the bathroom had 0 storage. As in, it had a giant shelf also known as the floor and that was it…not even a medicine cabinet. After installing some shelving, baskets, hooks, and a small storage table, we’re happy with the storage and now need a new floor. Pee-yellow and brown marbled laminate? No thanks! I choose upgrade! :)

We just bought our first house and the master bath is…not in good shape. It has some good features, but the AWFUL feature is a brown shower circa 1979 (when the house was built; although, from it’s condition, I’d swear the shower is older and was re-purposed). We’ve had it professionally cleaned and I still can’t bring myself to step foot inside! Guess a reno is in order! :)

FIX ME! (Please.) Our only bathroom is in dire need of a redo- everywhere. The tub leaks, the faucet is rusty and old. The fixture finishes do not match :(. We would appreciate wining this more than we can explain. And the money would go far- my husband is a contractor who would install them all himself and we could use the $250 towards a new shower!
