And the random person getting their fixture fix this week is… Anne L (who simply described the problem in her bathroom as: “Pink carpet in bathroom?! Nasty!”) Congrats Anne!
Got a bathroom that could use a new faucet? Or new showerhead? Or new just about every fixture? Well then you’re in luck. Fix Me!!
We demoed the bathroom in our 1940’s home and at the moment there is a toilet, 1970’s sheet vinyl, and studs…..we are in desperate need of fixtures….maybe even some walls too! Right now our walls are sheets of black plastic for privacy. :)

FIX ME! :)
When we moved into our house last November there was 30 year old carpet in the bathroom – eeww!! Needless to say, we removed it before we moved in. Since then we’ve painted walls and cabinets and put in new mirrors. Besides new fixtures I would love to replace the built-in box lighting above the sinks and the super shiny brass framed shower!
Matt says
FIX ME!
We need to redo our entire bathroom, but the sink needs to be replaced the most by far!
Gail says
FIX ME! My masterbath looks like it came out of boring builder stock house. It’s all white, with cabinets with water damage, and with a glass shower that never quite gets clean. I want to do a bathroom in gray, yellow, white and lavendar. Fabric is all picked out, so it could be interesting…
SueB says
FIX ME! Our bathroom has old chrome fixtures, baby blue tiles, and emerald green linoleum floor…this prize would help tremendously!

FIX ME!
We are working on our half bath that guests use when they visit right now! Rather than tearing everything out, we wanted to see what we could work with, and make small but meaningful updates (change the fixtures, get a new vanity). This giveaway would get us well on our way!
Leslie says
FIX ME!!!
My master bath desperately needs organized storage! No place to put anything!
KJB says
FIX ME!
Our house was built in 1969, and we’re pretty sure the bathrooms are original to the house! We’re looking to make some updates, and getting some Moen fixtures would pretty much rock my world!
Mackenzie says
FIX ME!!
Please, fix me. We just bought an older home and my bathroom doors are always shut because they are so ugly! I know some paint would brighten them up, but we really need new sinks. Everything else can wait, but we really need new sinks!

FIX ME!
I’d love to make my bathrooms a bit more sparkly with these gorgeous fixtures. Right now, they are pretty basic, and this would be a huge improvement!

I could definitely use a new sink and vanity in my bathroom!

FIX ME!
Our bathroom sink is so smelly – this would allow us to maybe get rid of the whole vanity and start fresh!

FIX ME! We’re currently putting a bathroom in the shop–which we have to finish before we can tackle the only bathroom in the house. Tub/shower leaks, toilet is listing to one side, I’m sure the entire subfloor is rotted–major tear out!
Anna Marie says
FIX ME! Where should I start? the awful pink formica in the master bathroom? The peeling linoleum in the guest bathroom? Or the downstairs bathroom: a toilet in the middle of a concrete box? We will take all the help we can get :)
Nikky says
Fix me (please!!)
My WHOLE bathroom needs an update, except the toilet that we replaced after moving in. We bought a really run down house and the bathroom’s been put off in favor of installing a kitchen (which it didn’t have) and making the rest of the house livable. But our cheapo vanity was installed wrong, the pipes under the sink leak, the faucet has no screen thingy so it sprays EVERYWHERE, the press-up shower wall thing is bubbled out and has a big glob of caulk over a giant hole to prevent our son’s room from getting wet.
Oh, and the dog ate the shower curtain yesterday.
Yay starter homes?
Robin says
FIX ME…… our master onsuite “bathroom” (yes I use the term bathroom loosely here)… was at one point the master bedroom with a half bath onsuite, the previous owners removed the carpeting and installed a coner bathtub/ shower unit and called it a onsuite…. We call it the Mystery Room… and it is indeperate need of a total overhaul!!
Michelle says
FIX ME!
My husband & bought our first home almost 3 years ago. The bathroom is a greyish-purple tile. Last year we found out the previous home owners didn’t use green board to apply the tile on our shower wall; they put the tile on dry wall which has resulted in black mold & leaking into our kitchen ceiling. We have to redo the wall & could definitely use all new shower fixtures.

FIX ME!
My master bath has has shiny (well, except for where it is chipped and peeling) brass fixtures from the 1980’s! Add that to corroded scratched sinks, and cabinets with brass trim – like 80’s with oak but brassy metal instead. Yeah, it needs a major Redo.
Jamie Lee C says
FIX ME!
Our main bath has a PINK toilet, PINK sink, PINK tub with old outdated gross fixtures. The crowning glory is the black and white velvet flocked damask wallpaper that sits abobe cracked white tall on the walls and tiny floor tiles that are a rainbow of grey, white, pink, blue and yellow on the floor. It’s completely hideous and this prize would jump start our DIY remodel.
Carey says
FIX ME!
All of our baths are in desperate need of renovation. And with our first baby on the way this would be great to win and get some home improvements out of the way before his/her arrival!
Thanks!
Lisa says
FIX ME… pretty please!
My bathroom is a major DIY project! The Matching Blue toliet and Vanity never look clean! Our classy 1980’s Laminate floor is peeling up and showing the Subfloor and finally my shower has a bulk head that looks like it is about to cave! Oh.. homeownership is fun :)
Tory says
Fix ME please!
I don’t even know where to start! We have horrible, cracked mauve tile in the bathroom. I have removed the tile baseboard and am in the process of installing new baseboard. Our leaky, ancient sink has been removed and we have a new one to install but have yet to buy the faucet for it. Our shower is the original one from the 70s and is in heavy need of an update! Our medecine cabinet has the broadway light strip attached to it (yuck) and we need to update the lighting fixture with a junction box! Its a bathroom overhaul! This would help us immensely! We are a family of five and don’t have the extra money to spare!
Thanks so much!
Tory says
Ooops *medicine. ;)
Christina C says
Our bathroom sink! its original to the house and just awful.
Katie says
FIX ME, please! Our new house’s master bath has a 15 year old (cheap!) oak vanity, a sink with a rusted out hole, lavender walls, green countertops and an exhaust fan that only works half the time!
Rebecca says
Fix Me!!
My bathroom is a hot mess! Peeling and torn wallpaper, swollen and ruined particle board on the sink cabinet from a toilet leak, and a broken sink stopper.
It is the ugliest room in the house!
emily says
FIX ME!!! Our bathroom is so desperately in need of this. I currently have a HUGE hole in my shower wall from recent repair work. It’s covered with a plastic drop cloth and duct tape. Classy. My ceiling is also covered in a plastic drop cloth and staples from where the popcorn plaster stuff fell down. Fancy. Add that to a counter that needs replacing, and chipping and peeling wall paint (previous owners didn’t use the correct paint for a bathroom!!) and we are in a sad state.
whitney says
Fix Me please. We are actually going to build a new bathroom in our basement since we only have one full bathroom. With guests that doesnt work out so well. This would come in super handy since i have yet to talk my husband into the fancy finishes i would like. Thanks for the opportunity.

Fix me! I would love a new set of faucets! I think the thing that needs the most fixing is my tub spout feels like it’s about to fall off!
Adaisha says
FIX ME! The pink tile that matches the pink toilet is screaming for a makeover! New fixtures would be just the kickstart needed for a bathroom DIY overhaul!
Kelly F. says
FIX ME!
The entire bathroom needs help – from the weird layout to the micro sink which is right up against a wall to the multiple ceiling heights. This would be a great kick start to an all new master bath!
Kerrie says

WE only have 1 sink in each of our 2 bathrooms and they are small so this would totally perk up all whole house.
Rhee says
“FIX ME” – I have a fairly new home, but of course we received the standard not so pretty faucets and shower heads. It would be great to update those and give our master bathroom a great new update!

We bought our house a year ago and our entire bathroom needs an overhaul, from the flooring, vanity/mirror to the shower. I would love a new bathroom!
Jaimie says
Fix me! I would love to replace our toilet with one that is eco-friendly and actually flushes properly!
Cathy Davis says
FIX ME please! We have an upstairs bathroom that has no shower- Just a tub. I guess the people who put it in weren’t the showering type!
cindy says
FIX ME!! Our new house has a 1/2 bath on the 1st level that has the ugliest sink ever — a laundry tub covered (and I mean COVERED) in paint. Previous owner was an artist and, you guessed it, the sink was his clean up space. We would love to replace it with a pretty sink!
Nicky says

FIX ME!…PLEASE!!! All three of our bathrooms are in need of an update, especially the two with plastic insert standing showers, or whatever they are called. These fixtures would be an excellent stimulus to getting tile for the showers!

FIX ME!
We just bought a fixer and we have one 1970s bathroom and one 1950s bathroom. I actually like the pink 1950s bathroom, but the 70s monstrosity needs to go. :-)
Emily says
FIX ME!
Our house’s bathrooms came with shiny silver faucets and brassy gold light fixtures. The mismatched finishes drive me nuts!
Cary says
FIX ME!
Our guest bathroom tiles need to be replaced. They are the original 1950’s subway tile….in this horrible shade of baby blue. I have recently repainted the room a light grey to try to tone down the brightness of the blue but in needs something more!
Lindsey says
Fix me!!!
Our bathrooms have awful cheapo lineoleum flooring. The fixtures are the standard builder grade nickel finish. They could definitely use an upgrade!
