Fab Freebie: Get Your Fixture Fix

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random person getting their fixture fix this week is… Anne L (who simply described the problem in her bathroom as: “Pink carpet in bathroom?! Nasty!”) Congrats Anne!

Got a bathroom that could use a new faucet? Or new showerhead? Or new just about every fixture? Well then you’re in luck. The generous folks at Moen are dishing out an ENTIRE suite of bathroom fixtures in your choice of three of their most popular collections: the modern 90 Degree, the sexy Voss or the classic Boardwalk. You’ll get:

  • Two bathroom faucets
  • A rainshower showerhead and matching tub spout
  • One 18-inch towel bar
  • Two towel rings, including their new retractable model
  • A pivoting toilet paper holder
  • Two double robe hooks
  • A curved Shower Rod

And just in case you’re not up for DIY-ing the install of all of these sparkly fixtures, they’re gonna toss in a $250 Visa gift card to help you hire it out (or to spend on another finishing touch to your new bathroom makeover). That’s a grand total of up to $1,600 in prizes. I’d say one of you is about to clean up real nice.

Moen Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A new suite of Moen bathroom fixtures (in 90 Degree, Voss or Boardwalk) and a $250 Visa gift card
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “FIX ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what in your bathroom is in the most desperate need of an update? Are you faced with old cracked tiles in your shower every morning? Does your mirror and vanity combo leave something to be desired? Or is your old leaky faucet enough to put you in a bad mood?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Aug 22th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Moen.

    FIX ME PLEASE!!!

My bathroom is from the 60’s, pink and gray tile all the way. Three different styles of pink tiles (they re-tiled the shower surround at least once), sunken and cracked tiles (result of a bad re-tiling job , lol), a vanity that isn’t meant to fit in the space, a pink bathtub, and a super small toilet meant for little people (but at least it isn’t pink!). All of the fixtures are OLD, and it looks like they just slapped towel bars up anywhere (one is actually behind the door preventing it from opening all the way). And did I mention the tile? All I can say is help!

    FIX ME
We recently moved and haven’t even touched the upstairs bath… It’s in need of a huge redo as the laminate floor is peeling up and the sink and toilet have rust stains that won’t come off for anything. Add in the lovely floral wallpaper and we’re talking more than just a weekend project which is all we’ve had time for recently!

“FIX ME” We just bought a new house yesterday. And the bathroom needs some minor updates, but a new faucet is #1. The one currently makes a huge “clunk” when you turn off the water. I won’t be able to handle that for long!

    FIX ME!!!

We are going to be gutting our bathroom after the new year. It is a half bathroom attached to our master bedroom and we plan to make it a full by tearing out an existing linen closet and moving everything around. And if that isn’t problem enough… everything in there is straight out of the 1920’s, when our house was built. It all has to go! Winning this would be a huge jump start :) Thanks for the chance!

“FIX ME! PLEASE!” That’s my bathroom talking, a.k.a The Butter Room. It’s called that because everything is yellow, like butter. The tub is chipping so much that sometimes I mistake the chipped pieces as dirty spots that need cleaning. The caulk for the plastic shower wall insert “thingy” is pointless because the wall isn’t even connected to the tub. It moves when I put my leg on the corner of the tub to shave my legs! So I’m scared to even see what damage is on our walls. Yikes! Our toilet looks like it always has pee in it (because it’s yellow), it is much too small for my 250 pound husband (he works out, lol), and it’s slanted! Also, the cutout in the wall for our vanity is too big. So above the vanity is a visible open space that’s perfect for gross spiders to hideout (but I see them…ugh!). If I have all three doors to the vanity open at once, the vanity will lean as if it’s ready to fall out. Oh boy! Our walls…panels meant to look like tiles, BUT the paneling doesn’t reach the floor completely so guess what 8 legged guests like to hideout there too! (We are surrounded by water and woods. The city we live in is nicknamed “Spider Island”, that’s why I have spider stories.) Needless to say, I think our bathroom was once someone else’s D.I.Y. project gone wrong. Regardless of The Butter Room, my husband and I still LOVE our house. It’s our first home (been in it one year) and we’ve done a lot of work to it already. The bathroom is on the “To-Do” list and winning the giveaway would be a great start to tackling the project. Thanks for giving all of us an opportunity to win and I love the blog (just ran across it a week ago and I can’t get enough, lol)!

    FIX ME, PLEASE!

I think our entire bathroom needs an update. It hasn’t been updated since 1964 when the house was built…the tile on the floor and walls is cracked, the wood vanity definitely isn’t practical or attractive and the light fixtures are all different. Out bathroom needs some major TLC but the lack of money makes the bathroom redo difficult.

We would love the Boardwalk, since we live…near the boardwalk. :) We have a really nice place that came with the tiny cube shower and garden tub master bath that seems so standard these days…and this pregnant momma is struggling to shave my legs standing in that space! The bathroom re-do is in the works, with tile coming in from the Tile Shop, and some lovely moss-colored Penny Tile, no less! We’d love some love from Moen!

Instead of re-tiling the master bathroom, the previous owners of our house had the tiles refinished. It looks great, except for one spot where it has chipped and you can see the original mustard yellow tile peaking out. It drives me insane every time I brush my teeth.
