Fab Freebie: Get Your Fixture Fix

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random person getting their fixture fix this week is… Anne L (who simply described the problem in her bathroom as: “Pink carpet in bathroom?! Nasty!”) Congrats Anne!

Got a bathroom that could use a new faucet? Or new showerhead? Or new just about every fixture? Well then you’re in luck. The generous folks at Moen are dishing out an ENTIRE suite of bathroom fixtures in your choice of three of their most popular collections: the modern 90 Degree, the sexy Voss or the classic Boardwalk. You’ll get:

  • Two bathroom faucets
  • A rainshower showerhead and matching tub spout
  • One 18-inch towel bar
  • Two towel rings, including their new retractable model
  • A pivoting toilet paper holder
  • Two double robe hooks
  • A curved Shower Rod

And just in case you’re not up for DIY-ing the install of all of these sparkly fixtures, they’re gonna toss in a $250 Visa gift card to help you hire it out (or to spend on another finishing touch to your new bathroom makeover). That’s a grand total of up to $1,600 in prizes. I’d say one of you is about to clean up real nice.

Moen Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A new suite of Moen bathroom fixtures (in 90 Degree, Voss or Boardwalk) and a $250 Visa gift card
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “FIX ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what in your bathroom is in the most desperate need of an update? Are you faced with old cracked tiles in your shower every morning? Does your mirror and vanity combo leave something to be desired? Or is your old leaky faucet enough to put you in a bad mood?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Aug 22th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Moen.

Fix me puuuhhhhlease!!!!!!!!! My bathroom is going down to the studs by my sweet husband stud! This could seriously help sooooo much, maybe if we win we can actually afford Christmas presents this year! Sure hope so because my love doesn’t deserve coal this year and my daughter deserves something more than some weird homemade knitted sweater with there’s arm holes…crossing my fingers and praying to the random.com number gods that they bless us with beautiful jewelry for our new bathroom.

My entire bathroom from collapsed ceiling, bubble gum pink rotting tiles and decayed flooring need to be redone!!

My whole bathroom needs some “FIX ME” love. We recently added some new lights and a fun paint job. But we really need the new shower head in our 20 yr old home. All the fixtures are from the 90’s along with the wonderful orangy oak and the bad DIY tile job the previous owners installed. Some new shiney goodies would help our bathroom get on the right track.

Fix me! Our guest bathroom needs some love, big time! The light fixtures were so bad that we’ve been living with just plain lightbulbs hanging out of the ceiling for the past year, b/c that was better than the 70’s-era, grecian lights they had… Oh, and the toilet, tub, and sinks are a lovely yellow-green color!

Where to begin…There are black and gold asbestos floor tiles. There is linoleum flooring on the wall as a wainscot. The sink is only 27″ high and has a separate spout for the hot and cold water. The hot water side won’t turn on. Strip lights on each side of the mirror and one of them will not turn on, you have to hold the chain just right while trying to apply mascara to that side of your face. It is a disaster!!!

Our bathroom is in desperate need of new, *matching* fixtures. We’ve lived in our house for about 5 months now, and replacing the functioning, yet unsightly bathroom fixtures is pretty far down on the priorities totem pole. Nonetheless, we’d love to have their impending replacement crossed off the list :)

(REALLY loving the “90 degree” -look, btw!)

Fix me! Speaking strictly on usability, our bathroom is great; tons of room to move around and space to store things, logical flow to the room, and a few energy-saving functions. Cosmetically speaking, it’s the most typical 1970’s pink, green, and gold bathroom! Every time I walk in there, I feel that I’ve stepped onto the set of the Brady Bunch.

HELP – Have you ever heard the saying about Cobblers Children/No Shoes???? Well I am married to a GENERAL CONTRACTOR! Our home was built in 1938 and as plumbing fixtures have gone bad, they have been “replaced” with ones left over from past job sites. NOTHING MATCHES – a bronze this, brass finish that, chrome shower head with a ?? faucet! Would LOVE fixtures that actually work AND MATCH…is THAT too much to ask?
