FIX ME! My mom’s house just flooded and everything has been gutted…this would be fabulous to give to her so she can have an nice new bathroom!
Amy G says
FIX ME!
Really, everything needs updating in our one (and only) bathroom! Most desperate, however, is our sad, sad sink and vanity.
Sandra Holt says
Wow, what a great give away! The thing in most need of the “I NEED to get this outta here” renovation is our wood floors in the bathroom. Two little boys + bad aim + wood floors does not equal a happy mom!
Allison says
Fix me!!!
Animal print everything….
Erinn says
The cabinets and countertops!! But new faucets would help a ton I’m sure.

I moved into my husband’s family home, complete with a bathroom that looks like a bumblebee. :( Black on bottom, white trim, yellow top half. Plus the “tiles” on the bottom are some weird… I don’t even know. It’s like a sheet of faux tiles and it’s terrible. They’d be the first to go. And then I’d get an actual shower head instead of a handheld on hung up over the pvc shower curtain rods. Although, if I had the know-how, I’d replace our old clawfoot tub with a corner shower. Our bathroom is way too tiny for that huge tub. And no one takes baths anyway except the dogs. :P
Diandra says
Oops. I meant to say the handheld shower is hung up with rubberbands over the pvc rods. :(

FIX ME!
My bathroom floor needs to be repaired and then the whole thing remodeled after the previous owners had trashed it and attempted to recaulk and got caulk everywhere and mixed dirt in with the caulk…it is nasty.
Taylor says
Fix me! Our bathroom has blue tile and a blue bath tub from the 70’s that we are dying to renovate!
Brandy J says
FIX ME… how about the horrid vinyl tile that previous owner put in the master bath… on the walls. Periodically one crashes to the floor and scares me… fun times!
Terri says
Fix Me! Waiting now to hear if our offer was accepted on a pink and blue, geese wallpapered, 80’s time warp house! New MOEN fixtures in the bath would be the best!
Paul says
FIX ME
Our bathroom really just needs to be a little bigger! It’s tiny. But in terms of realistic projects… I think a mirror/medicine cabinet combo would be helpful.
Hollie says
FIX ME! The whole bathroom is looking worn and outdated – new fixtures would jazz it up! P.S. the retractable towel rings are brilliant! My kids always leave it on the counter or it ends up on the floor right after it was washed and hung up.
meg o says
Fix me! Our main bathroom has a lot of issues right now – from a huge crack in the pedestal sink from where I dropped the ceramic soap dispenser to the fan that doesn’t work.

FIX ME – our bathroom is yellow, pink, and brown – we need serious help!
Erica says
FIX ME! Oh man my bathroom is a hot mess right now. The shower door refuses to close all the way and creates a nice little moat around the walk in shower each morning. UGH!
Andrea says
FIX ME!
Our bathroom currently has all bronze fixtures. The cheap towel bars from the previous owners have literally fallen apart and off the wall, and there has never been a toilet paper holder! We could sure use a new suite of Moen fixtures!

My girlfriend won’t stop bugging me about a bathroom remodel so I figure here is my chance!
Megan says
My groddy shower tile!!! It badly needs replaced!
Nikki says
Fix Me!!
We bought our home one year ago and our bathroom was last updated in 1982! That means everything in our bathroom is older than either me or my husband, lol. The things I would like to replace the most is our BROWN toilet and tub. No matter what I do, there is no way to make them look clean!
Ash says
FIX ME.
Pink tile. But, no, not even real pink tile, faux pink tile. As in a wall of plastic “tile” that gives way when you lean on it. Yeah.
Amanda says
Please FIX ME!
My bathroom is old and in need of a makeover! Its the original and needs an update.
DJ says
FIX ME! We don’t have a shower. The existing faucet is absolutely disgusting, and the bathtub has 30 year old stains. So FIX ME! is a bit of an understatement. More like FIX ME!!!!!!!!!11111
downthelanegirl says
Fix me. We are currently living in our little vacation cottage we rented out. I really love the bathroom. It is shockingly large for a 50’s-60’s bathroom. It has a vintage wall mounted sink I adore, but the faucets have a lime build-up that I simply cannot get off. I need new faucets!!
Megan says
FIX ME!
Our “master” bath is a small closet in a 1969 brick rancher that we are slowly updating ourselves. We bought from the original owners, who lived here into their late 80s. As a result, the bathroom has handicap bars throughout. The tiles are peach, dingy and cracked. And the shower head sprays the entire bathroom. I won’t even begin to talk about the medicine cabinet.
Amanda says
Please FIX ME!
Our bathroom is in need of a makeover. It is the original in the house and has a fish border.
Amber says
Fix me and the big ole hole left from my hideous old towel bar!

I’d like to be able to take a shower without running a bath at the same time (my tub spout won’t turn off)!
Dawn says
FIX ME!!
Still stuck with builder grade bathroom, hate those fixtures with the “crystal’ handles but they keep being put to the end of the list because its the Master Bath and my husband and I are the only users… would love to put us first for a change!!
Sandra L says
FIX ME!!!
Definitely, the shower head needs to be replaced … an old Moen for a new Moen! And we need to replace the old tub, too…

FIX ME!
My husband and I are anxiously awaiting closing on our first house, which happens to be a brick ranch. We were married almost five months ago in a cheap DIY ceremony, and have been saving pennies for our home, and living with parents. In about 20 days, we’ll finally be in OUR home, and we can’t wait. In addition to the 1960’s brick ranch charm, the one bathroom home boasts multiple layers of wallpaper, with the most recent addition likely being in the early 90’s. Cracked vinyl floors are accented by trim painted an awkward shade of country blue. The bathroom also boasts interesting built in storage cabinets framing the “vanity” whose cabinets sit oh so crooked, but are painted a nice shade of what I assume was white at one time. Did I mention you can stand in the basement and there’s a literal hole in the floor and you can see the tub? Indeed, we have a lot of demo, reno, and DIY in our future on a very tight budget, but we can’t wait.

FIX ME PLEASE!
We moved into a house with old cruddy bathrooms. The floors are peeling and the sinks are yellow and the fixtures are old and yucky.

Fix me!! Our bathroom is in need of updating! Rusty chrome fixtures… Not cute!
Rachel Louise says
Oh, FIX ME, please!
We just bought a mid-century rambler that is quite sweet and charming, but in Ned of serious updates, not the least of which is the bathroom. It’s covered in horrid shiny floral wallpaper, there is no storage of any sort, and the fixtures are ancient.
Such an awesome, generous giveaway.

We just moved into a new home, and our master bathroom is one space that needs some help! The bathroom vanity and faucets could stand to be replaced, and it seems the old homeowner’s cut a few corners when they tiled the shower (tiles and grout are cracking). We would love to put this prize to good use in this bathroom! We love reading your site and have used your advice on so many of the projects around the house!
Susan says
FIX ME, please!
My most hated bathroom element is the fiberglass shower that never seems to look 100% clean to me, no matter how hard I scrub. Anyone have any product/remedy suggestions?
Samantha says
Fix Me!!
Where do I begin? Our bathtub is from the 40s…old tile (some of which has fallen off and we keep saying we will replace them…starting saying that 7 years ago) and an old faucet. The faucet is so old that the knobs keep stripping and we can’t turn the water off once on so we need to keep a tool next to the bath tub to tighten it each time we shower!! I would love to win!!
Adecia says
FIX ME! My shower floor needs major cleaning and grout repair – or maybe just new tile!
Jen says
Fix me! We have cracked tile and unsealed slate in our shower. It drips what looks like mud every time we shower so black grout too!
Tim says
FIX ME! Our bathroom needs some love. My wife has been hinting at a bathroom renovation, this would be perfect!
Betsy says
FIX ME! Our bathroom has bright white tile, which does not mesh with a shedding (adorable) black dog.
