Fab Freebie: Get Your Fixture Fix

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random person getting their fixture fix this week is… Anne L (who simply described the problem in her bathroom as: “Pink carpet in bathroom?! Nasty!”) Congrats Anne!

Got a bathroom that could use a new faucet? Or new showerhead? Or new just about every fixture? Well then you’re in luck. The generous folks at Moen are dishing out an ENTIRE suite of bathroom fixtures in your choice of three of their most popular collections: the modern 90 Degree, the sexy Voss or the classic Boardwalk. You’ll get:

  • Two bathroom faucets
  • A rainshower showerhead and matching tub spout
  • One 18-inch towel bar
  • Two towel rings, including their new retractable model
  • A pivoting toilet paper holder
  • Two double robe hooks
  • A curved Shower Rod

And just in case you’re not up for DIY-ing the install of all of these sparkly fixtures, they’re gonna toss in a $250 Visa gift card to help you hire it out (or to spend on another finishing touch to your new bathroom makeover). That’s a grand total of up to $1,600 in prizes. I’d say one of you is about to clean up real nice.

Moen Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A new suite of Moen bathroom fixtures (in 90 Degree, Voss or Boardwalk) and a $250 Visa gift card
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “FIX ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what in your bathroom is in the most desperate need of an update? Are you faced with old cracked tiles in your shower every morning? Does your mirror and vanity combo leave something to be desired? Or is your old leaky faucet enough to put you in a bad mood?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Aug 22th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Moen.

    FIX ME!!! please, please, please!!!
In addition to cracked tiles, my bathroom cabinets are all made of particleboard and are LITERALLY crumbling. It’s awful…not to mention embarrassing. Each cabinet looks like it houses termites. I assure you, however…they don’t!

    FIX ME!! PLEASE!!

Just bought a house…with an icky bathroom. Needs some love, and I am loving these fixtures.

So the worst is the vanity. The top and surrounding wall are covered with formica. It is screaming “Make me Pretty” everytime I go in there!!

Fix me!!! This is PERFECT timing! We are just embarking on a hall bathroom remodel and haven’t bought anything yet. Planning to redo everything (it is original 1960s salmon tile with gold butterflies) – the only thing staying is the (white and recently replaced) toilet.

FIX ME, please! The bathrooms in our home scream “contractor special”. Everything in them is b-o-r-i-n-g…fixtures, vanities, vinyl flooring, sinks, etc. In addition, the counter in the master bath is not level. Place a tube of mascara or lip gloss on it and it rolls right off and onto the floor.

FIX ME! We bought our house about a year ago, and it has only one bathroom. We made lots of little updates, but the thing that needs replacing the most is the vanity – it sits about 5″ from the toilet in our tiny bathroom, and let’s just say the previous owner didn’t have the best aim…pretty disgusting! I Kilz’d the heck out of it and put about six coats of paint on top of that, but it really needs to go.

    FIX ME!!!

What doesn’t need fixing in our bathrooms? Well, actually the shower surrounds, since those were re-tiled this spring. Everything else is in pathetic shape—-old fixtures, no towel rods, vinyl flooring peeling up to reveal warped subfloor, toilets that hiss and leak, warped bathroom cabinets, and very dated light fixtures. In one bathroom we’re using a pair of pliers to turn on the hot water.
We’re having to redo the roof on the house, so everything else needed in the house is in budget limbo.

Fix me!! Not only do I have old, grungy, tiny dark brown tiles in our early 60s bathroom, and a half inch gap between the bathtub and the tile above it, but the mirror is hung so that all I can see is my forehead. Granted, I’m 5′ tall, but I have to stand on my toes to put my make up on. The previous tenants put beadboard up, so I can’t lower it any further. Needless to say, it’s getting a complete overhaul in the next couple months, and the new fixtures would look gorgeous!

    On my tippy toes,
    Leslie
