Fab Freebie: Get Your Fixture Fix

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random person getting their fixture fix this week is… Anne L (who simply described the problem in her bathroom as: “Pink carpet in bathroom?! Nasty!”) Congrats Anne!

Got a bathroom that could use a new faucet? Or new showerhead? Or new just about every fixture? Well then you’re in luck. The generous folks at Moen are dishing out an ENTIRE suite of bathroom fixtures in your choice of three of their most popular collections: the modern 90 Degree, the sexy Voss or the classic Boardwalk. You’ll get:

  • Two bathroom faucets
  • A rainshower showerhead and matching tub spout
  • One 18-inch towel bar
  • Two towel rings, including their new retractable model
  • A pivoting toilet paper holder
  • Two double robe hooks
  • A curved Shower Rod

And just in case you’re not up for DIY-ing the install of all of these sparkly fixtures, they’re gonna toss in a $250 Visa gift card to help you hire it out (or to spend on another finishing touch to your new bathroom makeover). That’s a grand total of up to $1,600 in prizes. I’d say one of you is about to clean up real nice.

Moen Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A new suite of Moen bathroom fixtures (in 90 Degree, Voss or Boardwalk) and a $250 Visa gift card
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “FIX ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what in your bathroom is in the most desperate need of an update? Are you faced with old cracked tiles in your shower every morning? Does your mirror and vanity combo leave something to be desired? Or is your old leaky faucet enough to put you in a bad mood?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Aug 22th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Moen.

      FIX ME, PLEASE!

My husband and I signed the contract for our first home yesterday and it is a project home (that is all we could afford). The bathroom is the ORIGINAL bathroom from 1972, when the house was built. The tile is pink, the faucet and shower heads looked like someone dipped them in white paint then ran over them with a truck, and the paint is coming off the walls. This would be an amazing, wonderful, and appreciated contribution to our home. This would help us use the money we were planning to save to re-do the bathroom for the kitchen which has a YELLOW OVEN from 1972 haha. We have a new baby boy and I am sure that he would love potty training in a bathroom that doesn’t give him nightmares because of the monsters living in the bathtub and sink :) Thank you! PS. We would be more than happy to send pictures along with our thank you card if we are selected!

Our entire bathroom is WHITE – white tile, white walls, white vanity, white cabinet, white shower & white tub….oh and white bath mats and white towels (from our wedding registry…because everything matches white! except more white…)

Oh yeah, and our faucets are mildewy and turning a strange brown color… :(

Fix me! Seriously, my bathroom is 100% boring. My fixtures are all mis-matched and old. The shower fixtures remind me of an old hotel bathroom while the towel bar has been poorly painted white over old nasty bronze. Don’t get me started on the sink fixtures :) I was just shopping for fixtures online, you posted this ironically in time!

“Fix me!” Please! The previous owners of our house began to tile over the 1965 pale yellow tile with dark brown in our bathroom. It was one of those abandoned projects that we haven’t had the courage to deal with yet. A gift from Moen could be just the inspiration we need to tackle this confused bathroom. Much thanks!

The vanity in our upstairs bathroom is by far in the most desperate need of replacement or rehabilitation! When my family redid the bathroom 10 years ago it was left alone since it wasn’t in bad shape but now it has seen better days. The surface is like a mock marble and is starting to fade. The sink is cracking and the sides (particle boards maybe?) is peeling. Gross!

    FIX ME!

Our bathroom is currently a shambles! A faulty vent led to a severe mold problem, which we were only able to rectify by ripping out a bunch of drywall (and part of a wall) and adding a stronger fan. Unfortunately, we didn’t have the cash for a real reno, so the bathroom is currently all plain white paint, mis-matched fixtures and holes in the tacky linoleum. I’d love to do the real reno we have planned!!
