We thought we’d finish off this year with a prize all about finishing off a major remodeling project (or even just a quick furniture upgrade) the right way. For instance, although we’re spending major time on tile and paint when it comes to our bathroom project – we haven’t forgotten about the little things like fixtures and molding. Finish me! Every year my husband and about 10 other guys go up north to a cabin in the middle of the woods without heat or water to do guy stuff. This is their 11th year. So I always get to spend the last few days of the year cleaning, getting my nails done, going to movies and doing some kind of home reno project all on my own (I love doing this!) in the past I’ve redone bathrooms (completely gutted), kitchens and painted the whole house. :)

This year, I am going to a New Year’s Party! My boyfriend and I had a quiet NY last year where we spent all evening looking for an open restaurant, didnt find one, had chips and salsa at home, then went and watched fireworks. So, this year, I have plans of what we will do and where we will eat, so we dont have to be hungry through the countdown. Ha!
