We thought we’d finish off this year with a prize all about finishing off a major remodeling project (or even just a quick furniture upgrade) the right way. My husband and I are empty nesters – both kids are off on their own. We will be enjoying each others company having a low key New Years Eve day and will probably go see the new George Clooney film that evening. Not everyone’s idea of the perfect day, but it suits us just fine.

FINISH ME! I would LOVE to have new knobs in the kitchen and think that would really update the oak cabinets. My plans for the rest of this week (yeah for vacation!) is to do some serious purging and organizing.
