Fab Freebie: Duet To It

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries***

Sherry and I have a system when we paint a room. She edges (aka: cuts in) and I roll. We both claim to have the more difficult job- and sometimes I think we’re both right (hello painting brick?), but this week’s prize could prove us both wrong…

Ryobi Couple Painting

The RYOBI Duet Power Paint System is specially made for two people who, like us, enjoy tackling a paint job together. We haven’t taken one for a spin yet, but the idea that both of us could have fresh paint pumped straight from the can to separate his-and-hers painting attachments (a roller for me, an edger for Sherry) almost makes us want to break out our paint swatches again. Heck, there’s even a sprayer attachment if someone’s feeling particularly daring.

Ryobi Duet Paint System

But since we don’t have any looming paint projects to tackle, we want one lucky winner (and their handy painting assistant) to try this puppy on for size. Here’s how to enter:

  • PRIZE: The RYOBI Duet Power Paint System (valued at $116)
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “DUET TO ME” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: …tell us your favorite musical duet of all time. Are you all about some old-school Sonny and Cher? Or does the more recent Madonna and Justin Timberlake collaboration rock your world?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, November 11th at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: Anyone in the lower forty-eight US states
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday. Good luck!

**Psst- Want more free stuff? One lucky local can snag two coveted tickets to R. Home For The Holidays where guest speaker Eddie Ross will be chatting about seasonal decor by swinging over to our Facebook page and submitting your entry. We wouldn’t miss it for the world!

    Duet to me!!

I love the Jason Mraz/Colbie Caillat duet “Lucky.” Not exactly timeless, but that’s all I can think of right now, and I do love it.

SUPER excited about the paint solution. That would definitely speed up the long list of painting projects I’ve accumulated for this winter.

    DUET TO ME!!

Love the twisted word saying, by the way. I really, really love the duet by Gwyneth Paltrow and Huey Lewis in the movie “Duets”. The movie sucked, but their duet “Cruisin'” is awesome.

I love lots of duets, but Ray Charles and Willie Nelson singing Seven Spanish Angels together is one that comes to mind that I really like.

    DUET IT TO ME!

I love the *duet* with Natalie Cole and her Dad, Nat: Unforgettable. (Does it count as a duet since it was really an over-dub? Puh-leeeese say that it does… It tugs at my family heart-strings.)

Without a doubt, best duet I’ve ever heard was Ben Folds + Rufus Wainwright singing “Careless Whisper.” An excellent rendition of a very corny song!

I’m going to cross my fingers for this gadget- I am moving into an allllll white apartment that is just begging to be painted! Maybe this way I could talk my boyfriend into helping?

    Duet to me!

Oh wow, favorite duet is tough…I was all set to go with a two-way tie between “Don’t go Breaking My Heart” by Elton John and someone significantly less famous and “Endless Love” by Lionel Richie and Dianna Ross but then several people listed Islands in the Stream which has been a favorite since the age of 4. And I just remembered that I’m currently in love with Sky by Ingrid Michaelson and Joshua Radin. I’m not a good decision maker.
