It’s no secret that we loves us some HomeGoods. So how psyched are we to give one of you a $500 gift card this week? Answer: very psyched. Like the one below that offers up some simple tricks for adding color to a room through pillows & accessories (which just happen to be two of our favorite things to hunt for at HomeGoods):

COLOR ME!!! We are moving into a much bigger house in a few weeks and I am having a hard time picking colors. Maybe the way to go is to stay neutral and add pops of color along the way. I’m loving gray and teal right now so I’m sure I’ll work that in somewhere!

In the midst of buying our first home! YHL and Pinterest have been a great help in choosing the color palette. We are going for a natural look with pops of color. Blues and Greens are always my favorite! Gray seems to be a color thats hot and we would love to incorporate into our new home.

I am completely in love with grey for the last few years, which is why my kitchen counters and tile are grey. For some reason, though, lately I’ve been bitten with the overwhelming desire to paint a chair a nice glossy red. I might have to paint my coffee table that color instead. The funny thing is, I really don’t like red. So strange. I also love turquoise. And black and white. OK, I can’t decide- I love all the colors- no beige here!
