It’s no secret that we loves us some HomeGoods. So how psyched are we to give one of you a $500 gift card this week? Answer: very psyched. Like the one below that offers up some simple tricks for adding color to a room through pillows & accessories (which just happen to be two of our favorite things to hunt for at HomeGoods):

My favorite color I’m using around the house is turquoise; I am in LOVE with this color. Turquoise is so serene and invigorating and inspires thoughts of soothing, tropical waters. I especially use it in my bedroom to create a comfortable atmosphere to escape stressful days. I also love this color because you can pair it with almost any color and it will look amazing!

Color me warm purple, clear turquoise, and apple green! I fell in love with a fragment of a gorgeous painting at an estate sale two years ago. It now hangs in the living room above an overstuffed, slip-covered white armchair, and the clear colors of the mountains, sky, and trees are the colors that make my heart sing (wa wa wa wild thing!) My front door is now a brilliant turquoise (inside and out) and the purple and green have taken up residence as pillows and accents in my living room. I wish you could see it–I think you would love it, too! It’s fresh, it’s crisp, and I love being there! Color me happy!
