It’s no secret that we loves us some HomeGoods. So how psyched are we to give one of you a $500 gift card this week? Answer: very psyched. After painting our whole house in neutral colors about 5 years ago, we are now starting to change those rooms to have some color. Recently we painting the kitchen a mustard color and we are loving it. Next up is the dining room and we are thinking grey with maybe an accent wall in burnt orange.

My absolute FAVORITE color in the world is happy happy orange! I’ve had 5 apartments in the past 7 years, and unwaveringly my interior decor of choice has been neutral walls and pops of orange everywhere! While orange has been a consistent accent color for me, I change it up with the additions of cobalt blues, lime greens, sunny yellows, or romantic plums … whatever mood is striking me at that moment! Give orange a try :)
