It’s no secret that we loves us some HomeGoods. So how psyched are we to give one of you a $500 gift card this week? Answer: very psyched. And if you’re stumped on how to spend that money, HomeGoods has a new series of “Design Happy” videos to help inspire and guide you. Like the one below that offers up some simple tricks for adding color to a room through pillows & accessories (which just happen to be two of our favorite things to hunt for at HomeGoods):

I’ve been obsessed with eggplant lately. It’s such a beautiful deep, rich violet and I find myself wanting to add touches of it to every room in the house. I’ve even convinced the mister to let me make the master bedroom eggplant and grey! Who’d have thought he’d agree to purple!

Color me fuschia, purple, the reddest red, deep orange, teal, pink, gray, yellow, and a mint green. I am in the process of renovating my first house that is a fixer-upper. I am into vibrant colors for my house. The colors that will make me happy around the house in the future are teal and fuschia!! I am torn between buying soft yellow accessories or burnt orange accessories for my kitchen.
