It’s no secret that we loves us some HomeGoods. So how psyched are we to give one of you a $500 gift card this week? Answer: very psyched. Like the one below that offers up some simple tricks for adding color to a room through pillows & accessories (which just happen to be two of our favorite things to hunt for at HomeGoods):

COLOR ME – or should I say, COLOUR ME due to my Canadian roots. Just painted my dining room the prettiest purple-grey. Thought it was more grey than purple but it turned out to be a light grey-lilac. Loving it. Going to continue with more of a neutral grey for the downstairs bedrooms!

After almost two years of living in our first house, my husband and I are finally painting! We are saving the worst for first. We are painting out living and kitchen that both have vaulted ceilings. The colors we are looking at are grays for living and pale yellow for the kitchen. Wish us luck.
